2 clean sheets from the first 3 games, front 3 looks exactly as good as it should and we've got the likes of Sturridge coming off the bench. All this while our 'best player' is holding out for a move to Barcelona.
Mane is the best player in this team anyway, be funny if Coutinho was just holding us back.

Selling Coutinho for upwards of £100m seems like a no brainer after that performance

Spurs were horrendous there, first half they couldn't get going at all. Once they scored it opened up a bit more for them but the last 10-15 minutes Trippier decided to do his best Justin Hoyte impression.

Utter shit show that.
Contrast there though, from players who gave everything but just weren't good enough (Monreal, Koscielny, Cech), to players who kept making mistakes but didn't stop trying (Xhaka, Bellerin), to players who just didn't give a shit and half-arsed it with a 50% performance (Ozil, Alexis, Ox, Ramsey).
5 at the back didn't work last season in that we ended up having more chances created against us. The players were uncomfortable with it and we didn't have the players for it to work. Going to four at the back helped a bit but the players are devoid of all confidence.
No leaders is often thrown at us but it was evident today. Club captain hasn't started a Premier League game for 105 matches now. That's a farcical stat.
Touched on it a bit in the last 18 months and did so again today, but we're so fucking easy to defend against and so fucking easy to attack against. It's not even difficult to set up against us. Sit deep, defend in numbers centrally. Contain, allow our cb's to play the ball around and push forward. Wait until the ball gets played into the midfielders and press quickly, win the ball and you've got a free run at CB's who are sat at the halfway line, and a keeper who couldn't outrun a pensioner so will sit on his line.
Attacking us is piss easy too because even if you don't try and counter us like that, we press from the front and chase the ball, so two quick sideways passes and you've got acres of space to get in behind our defence on one side. There's no fluidity in the press the way that Barcelona do it or even this Liverpool side do it, it's just headless chickens chasing the ball down in needless positions.
I don't even know what we are anymore (bar a laughing stock), we have no identity, there is no "Arsenal" style of play.
Alexis gave 50% and did fuck all useful, sell him now because it's not worth the hassle of keeping him when he's un-interested like this.
Ozil tailed off last season and has been diabolical so far this. Unfair to criticise him for going missing in a big game when he did exactly the same at home to Leicester too. Again, it pains me to say it but sack him off for some money and give his shirt to someone like Iwobi or Jeff who'll actually put it all out on the field.
And Ox, Jesus fucking Christ, never again in an Arsenal shirt.
Laughable that we even considered getting rid of Giroud when him, Kos and Coq are probably the only ones in the dressing room who'd run through a brick wall for the club.
What's most irritating is how predictable this all is, not just this result but this performance and indeed this season. Everybody seemed to see it coming but those in charge.

Klopp has always said that he sees Coutinho central in a midfield 3 or playing behind the striker and that was the long term plan for him there. As good as Can, Wijnaldum and Henderson were today, Arsenal were very open. Against teams like United that will put everyone behind the ball, Coutinho (or someone similar) will be vital.
As for today, best performance under Klopp. Class

Joey Gomez as well. So happy he's back in the first team and by my count played a major role in 3 of those goals. Mad how Clyne has gone from having an uncontested place in the team to possibly being surplus.

just got back from the game, something just isnt right in that stadium, fuck knows what it is but the players dont look comfortable at all
thought kane was the only good attacking player really, jan was overall our best player, tripper and eriksen were poor and honestly if aurier doesnt happen then kwp deserves to start, he cant be any worse than tripper atm
im not worried as most fans are as we always start off slow but we should be beating them

trippier didnt't go past a single burnley player, he has massively bottled it. aurier will walk the first team
shite game, no one wanted the ball for the last 20 minutes

yeah season ticket still, block 139. i think it will be busy so long as we stay in contention for top 2/3 all year. dunno about away games, hopefully everyone fucks off so i can enjoy them with the old man
i agree with everything you have said tbh. should have brought vinny on instead of sissoko and never sanchez in a million years. in the first half there was one point around 38 or 40 minutes where kane was breaking away and he actually had to stop, turn, and pass it backwards because no one was getting forward. bizarre game. burnley had us completely with their banks of 5.
i swear to god if vertonghen or toby so much as consider passing the ball back to lloris during the prep for the everton game i will kill myself. he loves wafting them out into touch.

great moment afterwards when a minibus full of mouthy burnley fans all shit the bed as some spurs fans chased them down wembley park way and cracked open the van's back doors.
