Peroni's nice but fucking hell does it give you the worst hangovers if you spend the night drinking nothing but that. Staropramen's nice too.
In terms of spirits, I like a Smirnoff Vodka double topped with Fanta Fruit Twist... Its a surprisingly tasty tipple to me.

I like Moretti more than anything. I was gutted when my local stopped doing it and got Peroni instead.
If I’m drinming something harder then I have to mix it with something mildly sweet. Double vodka and cranberry is perfect imo. Seems to be a big love in for pink gin with some of the people in work, tried some over Christmas and hated it.

If the conversation is moving on to spirits and mixers then I'm just gonna come out and say if it isn't an Old Fashioned is it even worth it. Whenever me and the other half go out in the city it's strictly somewhere that offers a rye/bourbon cocktail. (the number of hipster joints that make these up in absolutely povvo areas is amazing, at like half the price compared to Covent Garden or Soho too) Love ic's dedication to the tinned IPA/American ale movement sweeping through londons gig nights at the minute. Proper hold steady/gaslight beers them

A secret guilty pleasure is Brewdog Punk IPA when I'm at home, goes down so well when it's cold and you can get 12 cans for a decent price Loads of folk around here cream themselves over Brewdog because they are "local heros" but I've not found one of their beers that I can stand. The fact they call their lager "This is Lager" shows everyone what pretentious cunts they are. Marketing geniuses though, they've crowdfunded the whole thing yet raked it in personally.

When I'm in London I love going to The Diner for food, they have a good interesting beer choice Power to the people

Yeah the cult following is pretty cringeworthy, the Brewdog bars are packed out with accountants yet they market themselves as some sort of microbrew power to the people socialist outfit. Load of wank hence why punk IPA is my guilty pleasure 😞

just don’t be vegan david
I came from Budapest with an all new appreciation for alcohol, especially some 72% paint stripper they sold in every bar in the city. I haven’t felt the same since.

I alternate between Brooklyn lager and Einstok pale ale when I can find them, wetherspoons selling them for 3 quid is beautiful. Sierra Nevada is a third choice, tends to be expensive though Special mentions go to Shipyard IPA, Innes and Gunn lager and Camden Hells how did i miss this, shipyard in spoons 2 pints for a 5er is a robbery. get beautifully slaughtered every time. v good drink
