Also seems weird to hang around until the new stadium comes in and then leave before any of the money becomes available (lol Levy I know)

If he was to win the Champions League with us I'd let him walk, stay, offer him my sister, whatever the fuck he wants. Winning it would be the absolute pinnacle for this club (and although we're potentially two games away from it it feels so far from our grip still) and there is a strong reality that the season (or next 4 or 5) after you win the thing you're back battling for fourth, battling with the same pack of teams massively outspending us, never worrying about selling their best players, forever fine tweaking their billion pound squads. If we finish top four this season (which barring a miracle we surely will), thrown in with a CL semi (at least), this has been a hugely successful season for him all things considered, we've fallen off a cliff the last few months and still been able to (very highly likely) achieve what nobody gave us much chance for last summer
I think Poch has been using the media to indirectly address Levy for maybe a good year or so now, for a long time people have been trying to read too much into him (he's 100% on his way to Real Madrid you know, or was it Manchester?). Poch has had what must have been an incredibly frustrating year for him, I don't think he puts up with all that to throw it all away when all the bullshit is done with and normal service appears to be resuming this summer

I don’t see how anyone can think Pochettino has handled his whole thing anything other than brilliantly. Stadium, no signings, Kane’s ankles turning to salad, and you’re still getting Champion’s League and in the semi final of it this year with every chance of making the final, that’s unreal.
Says how far Spurs have come and Arsenal have fallen that Arsenal winning the Europa league and finishing 6th is okay for them whereas Spurs being in that situation is questionable in some ways

Barca going out last night could be the worst thing that could happen to Spurs. Means they’re more likely to win it but also means it’s more likely Barca bin Valverde and try and get Poch in the summer, and I think it’d be the first time in god knows how long they actually bring in a world class manager who hasn’t worked up through their own ranks, maybe since Van Gaal. He suits them really well as well.
Not saying it will happen cos I think he’s still at Spurs next season, but it’s the ideal pairing.

He’s an Espanyol man, isn’t he?

Pochettino said he'd never manage Barca as he's Espanyol through and through, and would see it as being a traitor. Think after one of our games last year he stayed behind at Wembley to watch the derby game. He's still lauded as a hero in the local area too, where he has a house

Have a feeling City may be up 3-0 by half time to make this final round a massive anti-climax.

The minute we were 2 points clear there was a euphoria I’ve never felt before.

Murray was terrible there and caused the corner in the first place.
