I went to the Düsseldorf-Gladbach game on the weekend. The Germans really know how to do football. Great day. We knew our tickets were by the away fans, but when we got to our seats we realised most people were Gladbach fans. We were obviously planning on supporting Düsseldorf but decided, seeing as we were massively out numbered we’d switch to Gladbach.
16 minutes and 3 Düsseldorf goals later we had well and truly switched back.
Was quite surreal to see so many away fans (in full team gear) in a home stand, but went off without a problem at all. Would fully recommend Dusseldorf for both the football and night life.
Thinking Cologne or Frankfurt for next year.

I found myself watching the German Cup final in a pub in Hamburg with loads of Frankfurt fans last year. Was fucking sweet that they ended up beating Bayern!

We went to Cologne for Koln - Hoffenheim last year. Koln were absolutely appalling and lost 3-0 but the fans were brilliant throughout the whole match. The city itself is lovely but somewhat quiet, best to go for Karnival
Has Europe's biggest brothel though, only found this out after we'd come home.

Luckily I caught them before they imploded and they won 3-0. Loved the city, the stadium and the Koln fans. One of the few grounds I've been to around Europe that I'm going to make a point of visiting again.

That first finish is ridiculously good.
Think Simeone may walk in the summer - not sure he can get much more out of Atletico.
Also, of course Piatek scored today and of course Milan still found a way to lose.

PSG lose the cup on penalties after being 2-0 up in the first 20 minutes, this is Neymar after the game. No idea what the guy said to him though.

The tackle Mbappé got a red for was one of the worst I’ve seen for a long time.

Got to sell 60 odd million to balance the books, haven't got the results they wanted, and isn't really doing the 'brand' a while deal of good.
Wonder if they'll try and grab Chelsea who are up for sale?
