The only way this makes sense is if we're trading up to #1 for Murray which is a massive gamble on him not getting destroyed by DBs. Dual running threat from him and Saquon would be 🤯🤯🤯 tho.

To be fair a lot of us on here have been saying for a few years that Cleveland have been playing the game perfectly by stacking picks for a long time. They fucked up a lot of them but recently they've been nailing them, a window has opened and now they've gone for it. They still have 8 picks in this draft after the OBJ deal loool.
Giants should have taken a QB last year. I guess I don't blame them for trading Odell if they're just going to accept that they're in a rebuilding phase and get his salary off the books but they didn't even get a particularly good deal.

There's just so much wrong with what DG is doing imo. They could still get Haskins at 6 but then what options does he have? A WR at pick 17 who might be another OBJ lmao? Plus Jabrill Peppers is the definition of a box safety and yet Collins' lack of range is why they've traded him too haha

Yeah I think the fact that they didn't take a QB last year is what's made them go into rebuilding mode but if they'd taken Darnold I don't think they'd have that same outlook this offseason.

Genuinely though, are the 49ers really only a QB away from competing? That roster looks god awful on defence and I don’t think their offence is all that it’s madw out to be barring Kittle/Jimmy G either

In all seriousness it appears Teddy Bridgewater is currently in Miami on business.

That roster looks god awful on defence and I don’t think their offence is all that it’s madw out to be barring Kittle/Jimmy G either I think they could compete with the QBs they have, it’s the rest I worry about. Garoppolo’s reputation might currently exceed him but I think he’s the real deal. Mullins was a good stand in last season as well, having Kittle as a target tends to help. However reason I don’t think they will is that their receiver corps is still weak and I don’t trust that secondary one bit. Their offense is tight end heavy which ordinarily rules out the deep ball against man schemes but Kittle is short for a tight end and rapid so he’s a deep threat. But stranger things have happened. The 2015 Panthers had no right getting to a super bowl especially with Benjamin injured all year.

Jared Cook visiting the Saints. God bless that man's hands, the only bright spot this past season. He'll go for 1,500 yards and 13 TDs with Brees slinging it.
