I've had some fucking bad calls in my time (Cutrone, anyone) but I maintain I was miles ahead of the curve when it comes to calling Donnarumma a fraud.

Mbappe definitely has that "Stop throwing money at me and let me leave already" vibe.

Both of Raphinha’s goals tonight were quality.

This is absolutely brilliant. It's all kicking off, red and yellow cards galore, ref has lost it.

The last 5 minutes has been too calm, need another decision to go against Barca or something.

Both ties are currently 5-4 and the other two ties were 3-3 and 2-2 after the first leg. Can’t remember a quarter final round so full of action

That'll do, keep shooting at Donnarumma, he's fuck something up eventually.

Can’t remember a quarter final round so full of action And still some weirdos will tell you we need to bring away goals back. Fucking glorious to see Barcelona heartache tonight. The most horrendous bunch of self righteous cunts going in that fanbase.

I’ve never seen a club so consistently do the wrong thing like. They really won the lottery by having Messi and Pep at the same time. The incompetence runs from the very top with them and it must be hard honestly for a lot of the fans to have had this resurgence in the 2000s, being one of the best teams of all time and then making a mistake with every major decision since. Especially in a time where Madrid seem to be really competent, having basically gotten everyone they wanted in the last few years while actually managing to get their renovation done as well. There are some parallels between them and United that might be a bit of a stretch but Messi’s impact on Barca’s success was as strong as Ferguson’s for United and the decisions made to keep both their talismans happy towards the end have had longlasting ramifications

Yep. And the frequent change of presidents hasn't helped because at least Madrid had stability.
Honestly though this has been glorious, Laporta is horrible and he's slowly being found out, Barcelona as an institution has a much greater opinion of itself than they warrant. The United comparison is a great one because their fans still think they're a top level club and the reality is they've fallen behind Madrid and City and are firmly in that second tier with Liverpool, Bayern etc...

Is that the closest we’ll get to seeing Madrid score from playing route one? Caught city completely off guard

It's not been the best watch but Tuchel has absolutely schooled Arteta tactically here.
