1 win in 10 is pretty terrible to be fair, understandable decision. Said at the start of the season they'd struggle, Anelka and Lugano are not signings that make for a good signing.

Yeah, don't think you can judge it straight away. Everyone thought Southampton sacking Adkins was a terrible decision and look where they are now. Same thing could easily happen at WBA if they bring in the right manager. Difference being we sacked Adkins and appointed Pochettino straight away, because he was lined up for weeks. WBA have been shit for weeks, their results look better than they have been cos of the Utd and Chelsea games.

A rumour seems to be that hes fallen out with Peace (WBA Chairman) over the past year as he had applied for the Everton job behind Peace's back too

Who can they bring in to replace him? First guy that comes to mind is Jol.

Di Matteo might want back into Management? Dunno. They strictly stick to their Director of Football model (Not FM knowledge, honestly!) so their manager is likely to be more in the Steve Clarke first team coach role I'd imagine.
Edit: Saido Berahino isn't happy about the decision.

Aye, you never know, if he wanted back in a club he knows well might be a good start? Not unheard of in football

Who are WBA going to get who is better than Clarke? Bad sacking.

Harsh sacking but looking at their record in the past year or so they have been under performing a lot, 7 wins in 34 games (I think it is?) in a calender year is terrible. I reckon they will bring back RDM.

I'd be interested to see what happens to WBA if they appointed someone like Rangnick or even Solskjaer.

WBA have been shite for about a year now. Lukaku carried them at times last season and you could argue Hodgson's good work had a lingering effect at first which helped Clarke early on. Still, seems a decent bloke so shame to see him sacked. Di Matteo favourite on SkyBet but would be very strange considering he was sacked a few years ago.

7 wins in 34 games for West Brom isn't that bad. They're West Brom ffs. Should be happy just to be in the Premier League...

7/34 is a win rate of 20.6%. Wigan went down with a win rate of 23.7% last season. It's worrying form, and as I mentioned above WBA have been poor for about a year now.
As the club mentioned, their wage bill is the highest it's ever been and I think they are well within their right to expect better from the side.
fwiw I also think £6 million for Anichebe is poor business.

They were quite unlucky against Norwich last week and today as well (from me half watching MOTD highlights), had a load of amazing saves/missed sitters/goaline clearances. Some poor signings. Pretty much all of them have been mediocre. Were never going to be able to replace Lukaku though, right @mikecfc?
