Go on the IRC, he’s probably still sat there with Jambo

ROFL they've just said on sky he resigned by text message.
Wonder if that'll reign in some of his stupid opinions

Surprised United didn’t wait until the end of the season to see how things played out tbh.

Does seem a bit premature. Will they hire a DoF to oversee him?

wonder if Spurs hadn't had such a drastic slump and Pochettino hadn't had such a meltdown if United would have held on

Jardim or someone else surely? I love Poch, but he hasn't proven himself to be anywhere close to that level of manager

There's a dearth of top level available managers around the moment. Jardim's reputation has to have been tarnished by the fact he left Monaco (although he's back and got them out) in the relegation zone in a poor league and Zidane's gone back to Madrid. United fans won't stand for Simeone's bulldog football. Other than Allegri (who i'm surprised they didn't go for) i honestly can't think of anyone else.
They've tried the promising manager at a lower level making the step up in Moyes and then gone for the tried and tested managers in Van Gaal and Mourinho and that's failed too so now they've gone for the club hero.
fact is United have appointed the failed Cardiff manager signed from Molde as their full time manager. the 5/2 on him getting sacked before the end of next season is printing money

Out on a limb but I reckon Potter will do a huge job at Brighton.

Out on a limb but I reckon Potter will do a huge job at Brighton. His head of recruitment is Kyle Macaulay, who about 10 years ago played for a while with Elgin City and is the biggest fraud of a footballer I have ever seen. Based on that I can't support him, fuck Brighton and fuck Kyle Macaulay

3rd, back in the CL, European Trophy and a domestic cup final defeat on penalties. Without a pre-season, with half of his squad coming back late from the World Cup.
Farcical. Let alone that, his story alone is brilliant - first major trophy as a manager, having had no playing career at all before going into management from investment banking.

Agreed to release him says to me hes potentially asked to go? Probs off to Juve where he’ll dominate far easier than at Chelsea anyway.

He probably deserves another season at Chelsea. I’m amazed Juve want him though, Chelsea have looked a shambles for most of 2019. Fair play to winning the Europa League as well but it’s not that big a deal imo.
