Saturday 14th DecemberMan City vs. Arsenal 12:45 Cardiff vs. West Brom 15:00 Chelsea vs. Crystal Palace 15:00 Everton vs. Fulham 15:00 Newcastle vs. Southampton 15:00 West Ham vs. Sunderland 15:00 Hull Tigers vs. Stoke 17:30 Sunday 15th DecemberAston Villa vs. Man Utd 13:30 Norwich vs. Swansea 13:30 Tottenham vs. Liverpool 16:00 First match to kick the weekend off is a fucking cracker. City are brilliant at home, Arsenal are a cracking team away, but CAN THEY DO IT AGAINST THE BIG BOYS? Live on BT Sport.
Few more too-close-to-call matches this weekend too. I think the winners will be the teams that score more goals than their opponents. Chelsea should beat Palace, Everton should beat Fulham (although they were very nice to watch last week - particularly Berbatov) but that's about it. I actually had a dream last night about Hull vs. Stoke (don't ask me why) and the final score was 2-1 to Stoke. Thinking I'll place a wager on it - do football dreams tend to come true or not?
Huge match for Man Utd. They all are now I suppose but after two home losses on the bounce they travel to Villa Park and that's not an easy place to go*. Norwich-Swansea...should be good. Then you've got a super way to end the weekend with Spurs vs. Liverpool, who will win that is anyone's guess.
I literally have nothing to say about Cardiff-West Brom other than good luck to both teams, and although I'm v. v. v. interested in the outcome of the Newcastle-Southampton match - it's a difficult one to predict. This is genuinely, to me, the toughest set of fixtures we've had yet in terms of predictions. Oh, and Sunderland could be relegated with a loss, Allardyce could be sacked with a loss, so a MASSIVE game down in London there.
* It might be, I've not looked actually looked at any stats.

Cabaye and Sissoko to drive Stu to drink with two wondergoals to relegate the Saints to a loss.

City to put four past Arsenal. I'm strangely confident for our game. We've been weird this season, been pumped twice & not played well for a full game once but we've actually had a better start points-wise than we've had for the past three or four years. Imagine how we'll be when we actually start playing well.

Cabaye and Sissoko to drive Stu to drink with two wondergoals to relegate the Saints to a loss. oh look Walnuts is here!! Be a very close game this weekend, think it'll end in a draw personally, Newcastle won't be used to playing a team like us that closes down so quickly and efficiently. We won't come up against many sides with someone like Remy in who can create something from nothing and normally finishes it off as well. Decent game, hopefully.

Imagine how we'll be when we actually start playing well. I reckon you'll win that, probably be the best game of the week too, all will be rosey in the avb garden. We'll lose comfortably 3-0 or 3-1 and everyone will be talking about an arsenal meltdown.

We have the slight issue of no Cabaye without anyone in the squad who can really do what he does, so I'll be interested to see how Pardew adapts. He could put Anita straight in for Cabaye, and go back to the 4-4-2, but with that we could struggle to create much, especially without much time on the ball in the middle of the park. Bringing Ben Arfa in might work, but as he won't be on the wing for the time being (as Sissoko and Gouffran are workhorses), is he going to struggle under high pressure, even with a free role? And that all said, I now think a focus on the wings wouldn't surprise me, and so Ameobi and Remy starting would not surprise me.

Our decent home form I would like to say, should be enough to overcome Stoke but I can see it being a 1-1 draw.

Fucking BT Sport.
Fancy we'll actually put in a good performance, probably deserve to get something out of the game but lose 2-1. Be delighted with a point.

Yeah I think it will be - two sides looking to upset the traditional power struggle up the pointy end of the table. Whilst I'll be delighted beating you this weekend, wouldn't mind seeing little old Southampton doing well. Still remember ye olde Matt Le Tissier - guy could play.

Not looking forward to the United game after seeing a predicted line-up in the Guardian. Has Welbeck upfront, Valencia/Young on the wings, Jones/Cleverley midfield, Buttner left-back and Ferdinand centre-back. So average.
