De Gea - One of the few players who has played consistently awesome since the start of the season. Lindegaard - Played once so far... Hard to judge Rafael - Extremely good player when not injured. Nice runs forwards, Nice crosses, Nice cut-backs Smalling - Unfairly shifted to right-back to cover for Rafael's injury. Very good at centre-back. Rio Junior Ferdinand - Oh dear oh dear.. It was going to happen eventually but I think he's on the verge of losing it Vidic - Still good despite his aging and injury problems Evans - Our best centre-back this season... Glad to see the amount of mistakes he's making is getting less and less Jones - Mostly shifted to central-midfield to cover for Carrick's injury and general shiteness in same area. Brilliant at centre-back. Future Captain probably Evra - Decent but slowly losing quality. Its clear that Moyes wants him to make more early crosses a la Baines at Everton. Problem is Pat can't cross to save his life Buttner - Switch to a left-winger and he'd be alright... Horrible at defending Fabio - Fergie didn't seem to fancy him, nor does Moyes... barely seen Anderson - Hardly getting game-time under Moyes who loves a fit player who can do 90 mins, hence no games for you Surely got to be sold at some point next year Giggs - Makes an impact against the smaller teams or coming off the bench for a cameo against the bigger teams Carrick - SO FUCKING IMPORTANT TO THE TEAM ITS UNREAL... injured for 6 weeks we look rubbish, comes back we look better Cleverley - Tries his hardest but not the guy whos going to start the big games or the guy who can turn a game on its head. Loves to pass sideways or backwards most of the times. Tommy the Crab, Craberley etc Fletcher - The fact he's actually playing, the fact he's getting a run of games and that he looks healthier than he was puts a smile on my face Fellaini - Acclimatising to the team, clumsy in a tackle, hopefully going to be used as our midfield destroyer player, injured and apparently been carrying injuries since the season start Januzaj - Fun to watch, plays like an hardened pro at times, needs to be careful with going over schtick Nani - Signed a new contract then suddenly had reduced playing time. Another one whos been too injured to go on a run Young - Getting better as the season goes along, His goal v Stoke seems to have brought confidence back to him, Frustrating before that Valencia - Consistent but still prone to some really stupid things from time to time Kagawa - Underwhelming for a good portion of the time, Put in a playing system where he doesn't really work, 99% of fans know hes good and want him to do well at Utd... Shades of Veron Rooney - VERY FUCKING IMPORTANT. Hard to tell if hes playing for that move away or Moyes has told him that Fergie won't be bothering him anymore. RVP - ALSO VERY FUCKING IMPORTANT. Hopefully he took a good rest during his first injury in ages and hopefully Moyes had learned to be very fucking delicate when dealing with his fitness.. because he is so fucking good Chicharito - Getting less game time due to Moyes' playing it safe mode. Still lethal in the penalty area. Never put him in a position where he has to build up the play though. Hispanic Filipo Inzaghi Welbeck - Love his build-up play, Love his footwork, Love his ability to press opposing players.. just learn to finish and he'll be amazing Zaha - allegedly gave Lauren Moyes a good seeing too hence why he's not playing... Raw but looks half decent. Wish he'd play more Moyes - Getting progressively better... The wild goose chase and mindfuck of the summer remains in the memory though. Looks more confident now compared to the gormless look he had at the Etihad. Woodward - Flew out of Australia from the pre-season tour for 'urgent transfer business' in mid-July. Not been seen since.

Schwarzer hasn't even been half decent since 2009. Boro have a better backup than Chelsea Give over.

Brendan Rodgers - 8/10. Still learning on the job, but learning quickly. Enjoying what he's trying to do.
Simon Mignolet - 7/10. Fantastic shot stopper. Absolutely useless at everything else. I wouldn't have signed him.
Glen Johnson - 5/10. Not been himself this year. Picked up another injury too.
Jose Enrique - 5/10. I can't give him more than a 5. He isn't more than a 5.
Kolo Toure - 6/10. Fastest cult hero of all time. Looking more his age now though.
Daniel Agger - 5/10. Never used to be this suspect?
Mamadou Sakho - 8/10. Looks comfortably our best CB. Looking forward to him settling more and getting a proper partner.
Aly Cissokho - 2/10. Might be the worst player I've ever seen at Anfield. I actually saw him fall over thin air when the ball was coming towards him without an opponent anywhere near him,
Martin Kelly - N/A. Be unfair to score him, hasn't had a kick.
Martin Skrtel - 7/10. He's had a good season for him. Still don't like him and would like him to be sold though.
Jon Flanagan - 8/10. Tremendous turnaround from him. 12 months + without a first team game, anyone would have told you he had no future at Liverpool. Comes in for the derby and was superb. Nothing less since either. Great credit to Rodgers because it's evident how much Jon's come on under him in 18 months.
Luis Alberto - 6/10. Looks a tidy player; if a bit once paced. Feel a bit harsh scoring him tbh, not seen enough.
Steven Gerrard - 7/10. Still has that genuine class that we miss when he's not playing. Suffered with his partnership with Lucas not working, but a good season so far.
Philippe Coutinho - 6/10. He's still a kid with unbelievable potential. Hoping he can kick on over the next 12 months. We could do with someone as good as him to take a bit of pressure off him though.
Victor Moses - 5/10. Offered absolutely nothing, the Swansea game aside.
Jordan Henderson - 8/10. He's had a really good season. Come on loads again and proved to be a must for the World Cup so far. Still needs to be more ruthless in absolutely everything he does.
Lucas Leiva - 7/10. Shown up with Gerrard against better sides, but another solid season so far. Breaks play up and gets things going.
Joe Allen - 7/10. Bounced back really well after the derby miss, some very promising performances, but another injury now. Hopefully won't affect him as much as last seasons did.
Raheem Sterling - 6.5/10. Absolutely useless until the Norwich game. Had shown no signs at all of progression, but the past 5 or 6 games he's shown a lot more promise. Again, still a kid, so he needs to continue to improve, but glad the promising signs are back.
Iago Aspas - 5/10. Feel sorry for him, thrown in at a difficult time deputising for Suarez, then got injured and hasn't hit the ground running. Feel the pace of the game may be too much for him here. Looks a technically sound player though. And has great movement.
Daniel Sturridge - 8/10. Fantastic in Suarez's absence, really got our season going, then looked superb with Suarez too. Still shows glimpses of his game I don't like, but improving all the time. I like him now, which is my biggest compliment.
Luis Suarez - 10/10. 20 goals in 15 games, what else could I give him?
We're having a good season so far, so it's probably a good time to build on that. A new left back was a priority for me in the summer, we failed to sort that, so that would be first on my agenda. I'd love a proper partner for Sakho but maybe that could wait until the summer; January may not be a great time to bed a new cb? We definitely need someone with a bit more end product than Sterling and Coutinho right now. And if I'm being greedy, competition at right back and someone (potentially) as good as Lucas from a couple of seasons back.

De Gea 9/10
Not much to say. Continuing on quietly and performing hugely well, particularly for a goalie his age. One of the few bright spots.
Rafael 8/10 Evans 7.5/10 Evra 7.5/10 Vidic 6/10 Jones 6/10 Smalling 5.5/10 Buttner 5/10 Ferdinand 4/10 Fabio ...
In Rafael, Jones/Evans, Smalling, Fabio, we probably have one of the best young back 4s going in the league. Just none of them are playing in the right positions/at all. Evra continues to do alright enough to justify not buying a new LB while Vidic proves that he's still good enough but doesn't seem pushed, while Ferdinand seems pushed but just isn't good enough. Evans still prone to not knowing where he is occasionally.
Carrick 7.5/10 Giggs 7/10 Cleverley 6/10 Fellaini 3.5/10 Fletcher ...? Anderson ...
Injuries have been sore but a lot of these players have not been playing good enough. Fellaini injuring his wrist checking the time while sat in the stands, Fletcher having stomach AIDS and Carrick straining his calf for carrying Cleverley around the pitch are bad, but these shouldn't be the type of players we're relying on. I would have been one of Anderson's supporters, but he just seriously has to go. It's not funny anymore. Powell is good, but he's not going to solve our problems.
Valencia 7.5/10 Januzaj 7.5/10 Young 5.9/10 Kagawa (any match that matters) 5/10 Nani 4/10 Zaha ...
I honestly hope that Zaha has been porking Moyes daughter, at least he's doing something. Valencia should be a good crossing option for the right flank for teams with less communication in the box, when we have an aerial threat box striker; he should not be our best and most used winger. Januzaj should be a exciting precocious youngster who's brought on as a flourish/game changer; he should not be our calm/collected, veteran-looking attacking midfielder.
Rooney 9/10 Welbeck 7.5/10 RVP 7/10 Hernandez 5/10
Thank god for Rooney. Chelsea would have the league won and Man United would be 12th if that transfer had actually gone through. At this point, Welbeck has been performing when called upon, while Hernandez has not. If another team believes they can turn him into a 90 minute striker, they're welcome to a shot for me.

In general, the start has been a bit crap:
Good: De Gea, Rafael(when fit), Jones, Welbeck, Januzaj, Rooney
Average: Evans, Carrick, Fletcher, Giggs
Can play better/Done nothing of note: Cleverley, Van Persie, Hernandez, Anderson, Evra, Young, Nani, Smalling, Kagawa, Lindegaard, Valencia, Vidic
Poor: Buttner, Ferdinand, Fellaini
Disappeared off the face of the earth: Fabio, Zaha
Moyes is somewhere in between can do better and average.
--
At this stage, I would say it is between City, Chelsea and Arsenal. I wouldn't rule Arsenal out because City have to play 5 of the top teams away yet. Then between us, Everton, Spurs and Liverpool for 4th. I think we need to be active in January otherwise we might miss out. It's gonna be tight.

Szcezsny - 7/10 - much better player than he was a year ago, hardly makes mistakes
Sagna - 6/10 - decent, frustrates me how half of his crosses are just absolutely useless, overall good player though Mertesacker - 8/10 - top quality, him and kos are perfect together and i absolutely love them Koscielny - 8/10 - as above Gibbs - 6/10 - been decent, hopefully he can keep himself from being injured Monreal - 6/10 - good back up and does a good job coming on infront of Gibbs when we're winning Vermaelen - 6/10 - good back up, but would still feel a massive loss in place of kos/per
Walcott - 7/10 - been great since his return, gives us something completely different compared to santi, ozil, rosicky, etc Ramsey - 9/10 - i'll be honest i wanted him gone a year ago, but here he is being our best player, would never have thought it, fair play to arsene for sticking by him Wilshere - 5/10 - bit disappointing this year so far, hoped he'd have pushed on a bit, still decent though and plenty glimpses of class Arteta - 7/10 - important player, miss him when he's not playing and just controls the game Flamini - 6/10 - good signing, played well so far, protects the back four more than anyone in the side, could be important in the bigger games Ozil - 7/10 - still can't believe we signed him tbh, class player, as everyone says he makes everything look so easy, people need to remember it's his first year though and after settling down i'll have no doubt he'll be one of the best in the league. been quiet for a while now (before his injury) Podolski - ?/10 - hardly played because of injury, played well recently and he'll be important for us Rosicky - 7/10 - love having him in the side, clever player who brings a lot of experience The Ox - ?/10 -
Giroud - 8/10 - fantastic player, wins everything, brings other into play, added more goals to his game, hugely important for us and i want to marry him Bendtner - 4/10 - shit player but atleast he's bagged himself a couple of goals. Park - ?/10 - who

Anytime I watch Sagna cross the ball I scratch my head at what more Giroud wants from a ball into the box. The amount of times Sagna plays incredible crosses and Giroud doesn't make contact with them is honestly staggering. Happens with Gibbs sometimes but Sanga especially. Should have 10 assists so far.

really, seems to me out of five balls into the box, 3 will fail to clear the first man or just go out of play

Sagna's crossing has got a lot better over the past 18 months, before that it was awful.
