Federer should be bowing down to Djokovic but probably best he doesn't because he might not be able to get back up.
Still so classy though. Did all his media commitments after his medical treatment at 1am when most players would've just gone home, and then went on court in person to tell the fans what was going on and to apologise. Even though I'm a Djokovic fan, it'd still be incredible to see Federer get one more Slam.

Bet Wawrinka is pissed though.
But aye decent of him to go out and publically apologise, also brilliant of Djokovic and Murray to put on an exhibition match.

Lol Mirka is a right cow, called Wawrinka a cry baby at the O2 what a bitch.
Also, Nadal isn't as big as you'd think in real life. Also doesn't like being asked for photos early in the morning.

Still think Dimitrov poses him huge problems, be the first real test of where this Murray/Mauresmo partnership is going to go this year given Murray has gambled heavily on sticking with her.
Nadal looked imperious tonight but still beatable. Nobody has come close to Djokovic though.

Ah damn, looks less and less likely that Federer will get that final major. There's always Wimbeldon I suppose.

Murray/Dimitrov was a good match, hopefully Dimitrov gets to top 8 in the world soon so he can get to the quarters before meeting someone above him. Great player though, love him, particularly that backhand..
Kygrios next, another potentially great player, and an Aussie, so should be another good match but expect Murray to come through it. Murray is fantastic at returning serves and that's Kygrios biggest weapon but you never know.
Reckon Berdych will see Nadal off.

Quarter final stages now, great looking draw with matches starting tomorrow.
Djokovic Raonic Wawrinka Nishikori Berdych Nadal Murray Kyrgios
If an outsider were to win the entire thing I'd love it to be Berdych, he's a great character, has a great game but just seems to lack the mentality against big players.
Djokovic Raonic will be huge, Raonic has gone under the radar a bit but he's one of the most consistent players at the moment, he'll be a challenge. Wawrinka Nishikori will likewise be a great match-up, both have had relatively easy tournaments so far and have very solid games. Berdych Nadal will probably be the most one-sided match purely because Berdych doesn't have the game to trouble Nadal on this court, though I'd love to be wrong. Murray Kyrgios will be an intruiging one, as long as Murray stays calm in what will be a racous atmosphere he should be ok.
I know people last year began to wonder about the demise of the established 'top four' but the amount of depth in the top twenty (these quarters with no Federer, Cilic, Dimitrov) as well as the likes of Tsonga, Monfils, Isner, Ferrer and there's suddenly a lot more interest in the match ups in Grand Slams before you get to the semi final stage whereas in previous seasons that was when they used to start picking up

Still backing Berdych to take down Nadal but that could just be my dislike of Nadal talking.
Other than that, Djokovic, Nishikori, Murray. But any of the matches could go either way and it wouldn't be a huge shock. I'd be a little surprised if either Djokovic or Murray lost but not massively like Rosol/Nadal or Stakhovsky/Federer.
Venus is having a decent tournament, she's had periods where she's looked completely done but then pulls out a showing like this, quite impressive. She'll probably lose to Keys now I've said that. Rooting for Bouchard to win the whole thing but Sharapova, Halep, Serena is a pretty big ask.

Funny Nadal has only won one Australian Open, he's very beatable there and it happened again this year. If it stays that way, when deciding who the best player ever is, only one Aussie Open can be used to counter only one French Open for Federer.

Good to see Berdych beat Nadal. He has a good record against Murray as well but I think Murray will come through in 4 or 5. After what looked like a rough draw of Dimitrov, Federer, Nadal to get to the final, things have really opened up for Murray so it'd be disappointing for him to not make the final.
