Decided I'm going to start watching Basketball again next season. Which team should I adopt as my own?

Depends on what you want. The Warriors have got probably the best roster of all time at the minute, Cavs are the current champs but are unlikely to compete. 76ers, Celtics and Bucks are potential sleepers for next season.
On the West Coast it's pretty much all Warriors, with San Antonio having an outside chance but looking less likely as the Warriors get stronger.
I'm a Cavs fan myself but a huge part of that is how similar I find Cleveland to Liverpool. If you tried to do that, like assimilate football and basketball, the 76ers or Celtics is who I'd go with because of their big success in the past and relatively poor status now.

Tim Duncan has retired after 19 years, pretty much closes the book on the early-mid 2000s era. What a career he had though!

He’s defo thought “if Hill makes this second one we’re up” and then has got that in his mind that he’s made it, even when he clearly hasn’t. So stupid.

Think there’s a good set up for the finals, be happy to see lebron win another championship, would also be happy to see jimmy butler finally win one.

perfect for me would’ve been denver and miami because i just prefer watching their styles rather than the lakers iso ball but really can’t complain too much. it’s the lakers to win but miami won’t give them anything easy

Surely the nets are going straight to the finals.

A healthy Philly can give them problems just because I don’t think they have a big who can stop Embiid and Simmons can split between Kyrie and KD..
They’re defo one of those teams though you’re more hoping they miss than trying to stop them because they’re a roster made of players who know how to score.

Just a great team to watch, free flowing KD/Harden/Kyrie are unreal and clinical in form. Some great sport ahead, just wish it was played earlier 😟

Probably shaping up to be the best, most even season of the NBA in the last 20+ years, and yet I’ve missed most of the season through how late the games are.
I did watch Nets Bucks game 7 followed by Suns Clippers game 1 and they were two of the best games I’ve ever seen so at least I got to witness those.

Seen the Draymond green and Jordan Poole footage. My thoughts are that a lot of people don’t know what a sucker punch is, for that definitely isn’t one.

The Kings, who have the longest active playoff drought in major US sports, have been a dumpster fire of a franchise since their last postseason appearance in 2006. They hadn’t even managed a 5 game winning streak since that season
They started off the season relatively slow as expected from a team constantly fighting for lottery picks which have seen them get very little (Tyrese Halliburton was probably their best pick in recent years and they traded him last season) and then decided they were gonna shoot a victory beam, a massive purple laser, into the sky every time they won
They’re 8-2 in their last 10 games and are currently on a 7 game winning streak because of that beam
