Strongly considering doing a degree in either Economics & Mathematical Sciences or Mathematics & Physics through the open university so I can carry on working at the same time. I'm smart as fuck so should probably get a degree because that's what smart people do. I do OU mate, it's really good. Let me know if you need to know anything.

got my graduation date the other week, 26th july
attendance has been abysmal this year and it's coincided with me having the best results I've managed in my 4 years, go figure
dissertation is the annoyance, I can't be arsed with it at at all, even though I know loads about the subject it's years worth of reading articles and gathering knowledge rather than stuff I've only read since I chose the topic so finding references and academics to back my opinion up is difficult

You doing it part time as well? 6 years seems a long time when I think that I'll be 30 when it's finished. But then you've still got a long fucking time to be working after that so not too bad in the grand scheme of things. Main thing for me is sorting out the money, doubt I'd be able to get a student loan seeing as I've already had one. Will look into it.

I'd already had one year student loan at proper Uni and I got it but I take it you did a full degree before?
I did my first year in 1 year cause it was piss and all you have to do is pass, doesn't matter what grade you get in first year. Think it's like that at proper Uni also tbf.
I've done year 2 over 2 years though, currently in my 2nd year of my 2nd year. Not decided what to do with my 3rd year yet but that's the good thing you can decide your modules year by year, pretty sure you can even take a break if you want.

Yeah I did a full degree before (didn't actually get a degree though) but obviously got a full degrees worth of debt. Only one to find out anyway.
I'd ask my Nan to lend it us but I already owe her 6k which she keeps mentioning so probably won't.

I did something similar to a Gantt Chart a few weeks ago but mine was called an Activity Bar Chart.
Where you have to put each job and how long they take on a chart?

Spent the last hour working out how long it would take a hypothetical man to screw fixings into 1400 cladding panels because learning is fun

Yeh I know plenty of people that have gone away seeking some mythical job out there, worked on a cruise ship for a few months and ended up back in Elgin with nothing
Have fun
