The day I think we have no chance of finishing 1st or 2nd in a mini-group with Ireland and Poland is the day I give up football. You have a chance yeah but surely you'd admit you're fourth favourites. To get us is a good pot 2 though, we didn't deserve to be in that pot. Well yeah, we're 4th seeds so we'd always have a battle to finish in the top three. We're fourth favourites but there's not much between the three of us. To say we have no chance is ludicrous - it's Ireland and Poland! Hardly world beaters. We've a much better chance than if we got Belgium & Turkey, for example. So of course I feel we've got a chance...because we do. We've got a better manager who managed to get us wins home and away against Croatia. I think we'll finish 3rd, personally.

Glad people are underestimating us. Strachan has done a really good job with the squad recently. Barring his first two competitive matches, we have had some good results and played well at the same time. Beat Croatia twice(who have qualified for the WC), beat Macedonia away from home, and we were unlucky against England. It will be tough, but i think we have a chance of qualifying. Top two go through and third place is for a play-off.
We have a friendly against Poland next month, so that will a good time to see how we can cope with the group.
How are the pots worked out by the way? We are the second highest ranked nation in our group, yet we are in pot 4..

It is on past competitive results, you haven't really gotten near qualifying for any international tournament since Euro 2008. We lost on play-offs to France, qualified for the last Euros in 2012. We are 67 in the world for some reason even though we're probably better than we were whenever we were in the top 20.

Our World Cup qualifying campaign was over after two matches. And the fixtures were kind to us too...Levein was just a cock.
Fixtures are meant to be out now. But this is UEFA, so expect them in an hour.

Only one home game on a Saturday is disappointing in terms of looking to go to the games. Other than that there's no big issues with weather etc. Good to get Ireland in the June slot as most of our players seasons will end at the same time so not getting much disadvantage there.
Best case we go into those last 2 fixtures needing a result against Poland and a win in Gibraltar*. Can see us heading to Gibraltar* with an eye on other results though (Poland v Ireland same day)

We'll probably lose against Andorra and Cyprus.

I'll probably go to at least 2 of Estonia, Slovenia, Lithuania and Switzerland away. Few good trips there.

Hotel booked for Switzerland. Flights around £100 at the moment so be looking to book them pretty soon.
Estonia is £180 for flights, only getting there a few hours before the game and leaving the next day. Not sure I fancy spending that much on just a one day trip so I'll have to see.

Poland are much better than Scotland. Should be Germany and Poland going to the Euros if the latter don't bottle it.
Good draw for Wales up until Belgium popped out.
