Someone tell me a team to go! I started a new game last night and just stared at the screen again, couldn't pick a team.

Anyone think FM14 is any better than 13? Not buying any games on PS3 and only buying a ps4 next year for fifa and madden so wondering whether it's worth a buy? Not sure if its match engine is less retarded than FM13's or I just happened to find a tactic that clicked, but I've already played it more than '13. Which doesn't say much, either they're both bad bad games or work and lack of free time are taking their toll.

Agree with Lone, the past couple of FM's imo have been fairly poor, thats probably why I still play FM11 more. Match enginge has been the main problem for me, defenders and goalkeepers are completely retarded. Main issue is keepers keep handling outside the box and then getting sent off.

Anyone who can suggest to me tactics for a struggling side to steal results from better opponents and saves my Servette from relegation will be my bff.

Won 4 trophies in my first season with Man U(community shield, F.A cup premier league and champions league)playing a 4-1-2-1-2 formation Hernandez scored 30 goals Including being the league top scorer. into my second season and already won the Community Shield and Euro Super cup.
My home form has played a big part of my success winning 27 and drawing 4 in 31 games in all competitions at old trafford

Playing 14, doing a journeyman save, started unemployed. First 2 seasons were spent with Grindavik in Iceland, who I got promoted and then consolidated before moving on to Viking in Norway. Spent 2 years there, staying just outside European Qualification the whole time, which was unfortunate. Decided to try something different at the end of my contract, moved to Sydney FC, my team are woeful though, may have made a mistake. Lost my first 2 games 4-1 and 5-2.

Going to look at what teams are in the Skrill North and South to try and find a save I can stick at without quitting FM14 and going back to FM11/12.

Started a save with Heerenveen. Made two signings, Pawel Olkowski (Right-back) for 300k and Runar Mar Sigurjonsson (Centre-midfield and Centre-attacking-midfield) for 800k. Both are 4* so I'm pretty pleased with how I got such quality players for that cheap.
Finnbogason is out for a while with a broken ankle, so I will have to play the first few months of the season without him.
Beat ADO Den Haag 2-1 away from home in my first game. Olkowski scored on his debut, albeit being a flukey cross.
EDIT: Just beat Groningen 3-1 in my second fixture. Olkowski with another flukey goal. This time, it was the keeper at fault. He crossed the ball very deep and the keeper just palmed it in.

I had an epic Heerenveen-Groningen NG with a mate back in FM11. Ended up winning a few CLs.

Get Buckley from Brighton Mike? He's quality.
Moved on from my Brentford game to do a Brighton game because I've heard good things (Not about the gays, about the squad). I've conceded 2 in 9 and I'm top of the league, easy as. Feel like this is the first tactic I've made this year that does what I want it to, we dominate possession so much.

Me and Stu both started a game as Everton the other day, I think his head has fell off though.
