Since no-one else has made a thread figured I may as well.
Barcelona will be looking to breeze past their Spanish opponents that aren't Real Madrid considering there's only two good teams in Spain but Diego Simeone's Atletico Madrid will want to prove them wrong again by continuing to be a hipster's wet dream, especially considering a late boost in Diego Costa's return to fitness just before the game. Barcelona to forget to turn up and get beaten 5-1 despite Atletico having 3 men sent off thanks to a Sergio Busquets diving masterclass.
Manchester United take on Bayern Munich in a game of football that 99% of world football seem to think is going to be a procession, but they clearly haven't seen David Moyes' Everton side take a battling point from such footballing fortresses as Craven Cottage and Bloomfield Road in yesteryear. Pep Guardiola has ramped up the pre-match mind games by suggesting he turned Alex Ferguson's marriage proposal down before Fergie settled for going ugly early and turning to David Moyes, and Moyes has shown his usual levels of intellect by suggesting this will be the first of many battles between the two managers despite United looking like not being in the Champion's League for many years to come. United to win 1-0 then.
Tomorrow Chelsea take a rest from taking on European superpowers Crystal Palace and Aston Villa to take on some minnows from Paris who have some Scandinavian bloke upfront who's apparently in quite good form. He's no Cameron Jerome though so Chelsea to win to nil in a typical Mourinho European performance.
Real Madrid take on Dortmund as well, can't think of anything even remotely witty to say though so we'll move on.
They all play each other again shortly after, who'd have thought? Everyone's just filling time before Bayern win the trophy anyway. Discuss away.
Edit: The post really needs a picture so here's one of David Moyes showing the lads how it's done, shamelessly stolen from BBC Sport.
