Shit's getting real serious yo. Four games left of the season with a lot still to play for. Fixtures this week are as followers
12:45 - Tottenham vs Fulham. Tottenham's uninspiring season is thankfully coming to an end as they begin to look toward next season with top 4 still an outside possibility. It'll take a few strong performances to reach that point though. Luckily they face a Fulham side who look destined for the drop™ but who have picked up a couple of wins of late. BT Sports 1.
15:00 - Aston Villa v Southampton. Another game that doesn't have much riding on it. Villa will survive despite a very sharp decline in performances over the last couple of months, and Southampton will look to solidify their place in the top 10 where they haven't finished since their 8th place in 2003.
15:00 - Cardiff v Stoke. Cardiff are another side who look like they might drop although they are one of the teams who could just about avoid relegation should performances in these last games improve. Stoke will look to overtake Newcastle into 9th place. Although this doesn't qualify them for another, a first top half finish for them would signal a bit of progress. Unfortunately.
15:00 - Newcastle v Swansea. Newcastle go into this one against a surprisingly relegation-threatened Swansea hoping to ward off Stoke. Swansea were resilient against Chelsea last weekend playing most of the game with 10 men, but a resilient loss is a loss nonetheless.
15:00 - West Ham v Crystal Palace. Palace are perhaps the surprise package of this season and should there be a five goal swing, they could find themselves top half with Stoke dropping out. West Ham lost to Arsenal on Tuesday and never really looked particularly brilliant. They will host a minute's silence for Dylan Tombides, a player of theirs who succumbed to cancer during the week.
17:30 - Chelsea v Sunderland. Chelsea struggled to overcome Swansea last week, wasting many good chances and never looking anywhere near their best. Sunderland on the other hand snatched a draw from the jaws off victory against City after Connor Wickham gave the Black Cats a surprise lead in that game. Sunderland are rock bottom and need to win this one if they want to stay up. Chelsea remain undefeated with Jose Mourinho at home so Sunderland may well be resigned to the Championship come Sunday morning. Sky Sports 1.
12:00 - Norwich v Liverpool. Norwich are another team battling to save themselves from relegation but come up against a Liverpool side who haven't lost in 15 games and are yet to be beaten in 2014. Luis Suarez is a fan of Carrow Road having scored hat-tricks in his previous two visits and scoring four against Norwich at Anfield earlier this season. Will Liverpool's title challenge come unstuck this weekend? Sky Sports 1.
14:05 - Hull v Arsenal. In a preview of the FA Cup final, Hull welcome Arsenal sitting comfortably above the relegation zone with Steve Bruce having done an excellent job to retain top flight football as well as maintaining a cup challenge. Arsenal finally got back to winning on Monday against West Ham but still look vulnerable to a defeat. Arsenal are 4th and could put themselves in a really solid position to gain Champions League football should they win. Sky Sports 1.
16:10 - Everton v Man United. David Moyes returns to Goodison Park for the first time since he was given a guard of (no) honour(s) with his Manchester United team playing like shit. They've struggled against top teams all year so playing Everton will be welcome relief. Roberto Martinez's men have battled for Europe all year but lost ground with a shock defeat to Crystal Palace during mid week. Sky Sports 1.
20:00 - Man City v West Brom. Manchester City's title hopes took a big hit during the week as Sunderland put in a typically brilliant performance when facing City. West Brom could still be relegated, as could many other teams in the bottom half so they could give City an equally difficult time. City just don't look the same without Toure and Silva. Sky Sports 1.
