Is there anything on Netflix as brutal as The Punisher? I never thought that was my thing but it was quality

Netflix released their Sunderland documentary earlier today. Doesn't quite have the same pull as the Amazon City one

The Man City one wasn't that good, sure it was interesting to see how they work but there was next to no drama or conflict because they're too good. Not for nothing that the best parts of the entire series were watching them get beat, found it hard to take serious when they're stressing over whether they'll get to 100 points. The Sunderland one sounds miles better, watching failure is much more interesting than success.

I’ve watched 6/8, it’s miles better than City’s but not brilliant still. There’s a some interesting behind the scenes footage but its got no dressing room reaction stuff which is a shame.

Idk I really liked the City one partly for the parts that covered us, partly because it was good to get an insight into Arteta, partly to see inside the performance center and just generally have an insight into what players do away from the training pitch but still 'at work'.
And the off-field stuff with the physios, kitmen, directors etc...
I'll make time for the Sunderland one over Christmas. Anyone gone through any of the NFL one's on Amazon? I've got a week left before cancelling it and trying to decide what else to grind through.

The NFL ones are class, generally the people are much more interesting in front of a camera and idk whether it’s just because it’s so much more alien to us but it’s just miles more interesting to me. The Cardinals and Rams’ ones are amazing for different reasons, and the Rams one will be even better now knowing what comes after. Incredibly well produced as well.

the only interesting thing that happened in the City documentary was Delph screaming "BASICS OF FOOTBALL" while Pep is trying to be all cerebral and complex about it all

Miles better than the Man City one. Martin Bain goes full David Brent and Chris Coleman is such a watchable tool as well. Jack Rodwell is a born villain and there’s loads of funny shots of angry mackems in the stands. They play the patronising grim up north thing a bit too much and a bit more fly on the wall would have been nice, but it’s worth a watch.

So many people saying Bain comes of well for some reason when the bloke is just an absolute blagger
Coleman is a good guy tho. Did a shit job but still.

Is that Dutch keeper for Sunderland as bad as he looks on this Netflix show?

He’s the third worst keeper I’ve ever seen for us behind Lee Camp and Jason Steele
