Manny Pacquiao is an absolute legend of the sport. A performance like that at the age of 40 against a prime Thurman. It shows just how elite he was that even though he's not the same fighter he was 10 years ago he's still beating top young guys like this.
If this was 2010 Pacquiao, Thurman would have got well and truly Miguel Cotto'd.

Feel the loss is the best thing that could have happened because he's slipped out of the corporate Matchroom groomed poster boy and has a bit of spite about him now.

Actually hilarious how his head has fallen off. Going after a highly respected ATG because he's one of the few English former boxers/pundits who isn't clamouring to suck his nuts. Talking about being in a place to sit back and appreciate young boxers when he's at a stage where he's just lost his titles and hasn't even fought the best in the division yet.
That whole humble facade washed off pretty quick didn't it? Who knew Ruiz would expose his bullshit persona as well as his extraordinarily average boxing skills.

I woke up just before it started so found a stream, it was horrendous/funny as fuck. Thank god they had a winner though so hopefully they don't fight again.

I don't understand how after all this training and hype KSI still can't throw a punch properly.

I had Ruiz to win in rounds 9-12 before I saw the weigh in. Ruiz looking like he’s been enjoying the money and AJ finally lost the weight which he should have done a long time ago. Ruiz is already pretty slow on his feet and AJ should be quicker, I reckon Ruiz struggles to close the gap, AJ will stick to straight shots and fighting from the outside, no stupid trade ups on the inside and will probably wear Ruiz down and stop him somewhere around 6-9.
Ring is massive as well, 22ft so should be plenty of room for him to move, Max ring size in UK Is 20ft.

I dunno, I'm really not confident calling it either way.
Ruiz still looks like he has rapid hands in his work-outs, and if he throws punches in bunches Joshua can get caught by one. Whether he gets caught with one flush as he did in the 3rd idk.
I think Ruiz could end up being stopped late on from taking too much damage, but I also think Ruiz could wobble him in the middle rounds.
The closer it gets the more I'm leaning towards the upset.
Really hope Povetkin gets flattened too.

Ruiz has really slow feet though which won't be helped by being his heaviest in 10 years and AJ being his lightest in 5 years will help him move better. As long as AJ doesn't trade on the inside I don't think Ruiz will get close enough to land the shots.
I was pretty confident on Ruiz surviving the early rounds and slowly wearing AJ down with body shots before stopping him late but not now.

Do you not buy his excuse of the late-in-the-day weigh-in and wearing all his clothes to do so?
His face was definitely fuller.

Not really, your clothes won't make that much difference. I could understand if it was 3-4lbs but it's the heaviest he's been in 10 years and he's had 3 months notice for the fight. At the very least he should be the same weight.
