Absolutely phenomenal record, really looking forward to seeing how he does against Salido.
Aye Cardle fought well, a lot of people seem unhappy with the stoppage but tbh Appleby's legs were wobbly as fuck on his way back to the corner and I doubt he would have lasted much longer.
Edit: Murray was on a mission there.

And that he's not good enough and hasn't been for some time at that level?

Shame to see Burns in this state., he was absolutely quality between 2010-2012. He's very classy fighter and has a boxing brain on him but his last two fights he just hasn't looked himself. Don't particularly think it's because his opponents have been greatly superior to him either, he hasn't performed anywhere near to his usual standards, doesn't look as calm as he used to when fighting.

Won £300 yesterday on Crawford, Liverpool and Salido. Was 100% confident Crawford would win as I think he's very impressive but I bet on Salido more because there was a question mark over that fight rather than me knowing what would actually happen, I thought at 4/1 it was too big not to.
Hindsight is wonderful but sticking someone in there with a veteran world champ in your second pro fight regardless of how many gold medals you have is pretty stupid. I suppose he went for the glory and showed a lot of bravery to take him on but even if he had 6 or 7 fights before he took on a Salido I think he would have won.

Ended up being too soon for him but you gotta give the guy a lot of credit, taking Salido to a split decision in only his second pro fight is nothing to be sniffed at. Can see why he went for a title so early, his amateur record is astounding and he's clearly an extremely talented fighter but he found out that pro is a whole different world. Nice to see someone not being over-protected for their first 30 fights though haha, showed guts last night. Nice win btw ChappyHova haha.

Reckon Hearn is being hugely optimistic with that one, be surprised if they get to 60k tickets unless they're priced cheaper than the first fight.

I reckon because of how far away some of the seats will be there will be a number of cheap(ish) tickets available.
Tbh I think this will sell very well, there was already a huge amount of hype surrounding the first fight, now there's all the angles of 'revenge' and 'unfinished business' to add into the mix to drum up further interest. I saw on SkySports that Hatton vs Lazcano did 57000 at City's ground, I think this will surpass that fairly easily. Everyone loves a big domestic match up.

There's something like 7,000 £30 tickets.
I reckon they'll smash 60,000.

Hmmm. Will have to wait and see tbh, those in the known say 60k is the likely amount (with an 80k limit), I just can't see it as I don't think the hype is there at the moment. Obviously they'll market it well and they've got faith in doin so but yeah, will have to wait and see.
As for the fight, Froch's alluded to there being issues in his preparation last time and an unspecified injury so I'm hoping he explains that at some point in the build up.
Be honest though I had much more interest in Haye vs Fury than I do for this rematch.

Really?
Haye would have beaten Fury inside 6 rounds.

Wouldn't have been surprised if it was a lot earlier than that the way Fury fights.
Also maybe it's just because I'm a Boxing nerd so I'm listening more to what people are saying within Boxing but Froch vs Groves seems fricking HUGE to me but maybe that's just within the hardcore fans rather than the casual's.
All my mates are talking about Froch vs Groves II.
