Close It's mad, I really rated Ausberry but he picked up an injury and it was impossible to look back. Reece is an absolute juggernaut on wheel routes. The draft is too much fun. Didn't cheat my way through scouting like I did on Madden 13 but still turned out with 3 superstar draft choices. Fourth round RB Jabari Vereen just put in 3 TD's, 2 rushing, and over 150 yards in our first game of the season against the Bears. Also picked a CB in the second round who was tipped to go undrafted and he's come out with a 76 overall and superstar development, him alongside DJ Hayden and I have the Zone Press game in check. Finished my first season, went 11-5 and lost the Conference game to the Colts. Carr picked up an injury in week 16 and I had an absolute mare trying to do the same stuff with McGloin in the Conference game. Ended up throwing 3 interceptions in one quarter ffs. Carr finished with 4,715 yards, 42 TDs, 25 INT's and a 63% completion for a 92 QBR. Won NFL MVP, AFC POTY, Offensive Rookie of the Year & Rookie of the Year. At one point he won 6 weekly awards consecutively. Streater finished with 1,227 yards and 14 TDs, Reece with 1,142 and 11 TDs as my two main outlets. Khalil won Defensive ROTY, and AFC Defensive POTY. 32 tackles for loss and 17 sacks. Oosh. What's the deal with players not announcing retirement though? MJD just disappeared off my game

Second season now we're 4-0-0 but we're playing terribly. Best offense but 16th best D. I've started mildly well with 9 TD-6INT and 1,000 yards but just had my second career game without a TD. Two of those wins have been in overtime, whereas I never had an overtime game at all last season.
Again, MJD is bossing it, averaging 115 YPG. Reece is excellent when called upob. McFadden is gone, which is sort of a shame but the only time he showed up was the Super Bowl because MJD was going for 7 yards off 8 carries.
Manziel has started the year 1-7 TD-INT. 3 of those were againt us. Passing has been pretty shit all around the league in fairness.

Picked it up for Xbox one, my first ever Madden game so just learning the ropes. Been playing as the Packers in coach mode. Lost Rodgers in pre-season for 4 weeks so had to make do with Matt Flynn, I'm 5-3 for the season so far. Struggled on pro difficulty so went down to rookie but after winning two games to no score I've made the step back up to pro but struggling on it a fair bit. GT is iMick69 think I have Paul as a friend on xbl anyway

Paul Did you say you had the QB at 83 after the first season without using the Game Prep XP stuff? I might start again and just leave Game Prep alone. Carr is too overpowered for it to be just the second season, even on All Madden.

Running QBs are the bane of my life, can't defend against them for shit. Cam Newton and Vick constantly rape me ffs (still on Madden 12).

Love how game adjusts too, I was overusing the blitz and after doing it a few times in a row the AI started reading it.

Easiest way to deal with them is to manually pick your defensive calls. There's a few plays called "Man QB Spy" or something along those lines where it will automatically designate a linebacker to cover the QB in man coverage, in zone coverage you should already be ok against the QB run since your linebackers will likely be covering mid zones either side of the line of scrimmage, throw in a blitz from the weak side OLB and you're golden.
There's a couple of offset Cover 3 zone blitzes that can shut down pretty much every play on Rookie/Pro difficulty, ones like Weak Slant 3 and Cover Roll 3 (I think that's their names) where you can just reverse the play as necessary so your guys are blitzing the weak side (the side with less O-Line cover, usually the side without the Tight End) which will shut down counter runs and option plays like nobody's business.

Started as an undrafted one cut RB with Texans (I miss the getting drafted aspect instead of picking)
Had 4 snaps (somehow got on the pitch one game and kept the hurry up offense on), 1 first down and 1 TD.
Not seen another snap yet. Patiently waiting for Arian Foster to inevitably hurt himself.

Started again, opting not to use Game Prep at all as far as player development goes.
Traded 2 draft picks (Round 4 2015, Round 3 2016) for Malcolm Smith afer the Seahawks put him on the block. Who am I to turn down a Super Bowl MVP?
