I've made the life altering decision to grow my hair much longer than I've ever had it before and let my beard go (provided I find a new job because working with food and growing beards don't work). The natural temptation for me to go to the barbers after 6 weeks is difficult to fight.

At least that's what the guy who cut my hair said haha

Wash it twice a week and throw a bit of pomade, clay, putty through, sweep it back to the side and away you go.

I can rarely be bothered with wax/gel anymore, just style it after I've washed it and let it dry in place.

hellas u lil sort
you should definitely invest in pomade though, i use murray's and whilst it is actually impossible to get off the comb its just freaky for giving you that good kind of greasy look

Yeah I noticed today that the wax is only useful for 4-5 hours. Going to invest in some Pomade. How much do you usually put on?

There isn't really too much when it comes to pomade to be honest, once its in your hair. It's not like wax where you get lumps of it going spare or that, or if you run your hand through it it comes off etc, pomade's too thick
Just do it bit by bit until you're happy with it and go from there
