Enjoying these prelims. Just realised who Mark Hunt is now and I'm really looking forward to that one

Everyone should go to UFC London...mainly because none of my mates like it enough to make that journey.
Think we'll see a KO or at the very least a war in the main event tonight.

There's no sporting event I'd wanna see more than that. I just couldn't afford it I don't think. Maybe one day if I get lucky with the job hunt tho

I'm waiting for tickets to go on sale, been checking regularly lol. Crazy main event, Shogun killed Te Huna too! The fight was crazy but I was gutted with a draw cause I had a fiver on Shogun and Bigfoot. The draw was voided and I still won a tenner so whatever really. Oh and lmao, bet Bader never has a fight as easy as that again.
Looking forward to Dec. 14 now.

Mark Hunt >>>>>
Such a massive fan of his, the amount of progress he's shown in the last few years has been fucking insane. It's a shame he's 39, if he was younger he could've been such an immense heavyweight.
Te Huna's KO was nasty, he just folded looool.

What a fucking epic that was. The best draw I've seen and very fair result. The 2 of them were so fucked in the end if either of them had been in round 5 with junior or Cain they'd have lost though. Superior cardio sets the elite from the great in the heavyweight division.

JDS isn't elite. There's only one elite HW atm and it's Cain. Bar a lucky shot nobody is going to beat him, he's too quick, powerful and has too much in the tank. It's at a crazy point now where if you're taking him on and don't stop him in the first round, then you're fucked.

Well I can't claim to be an expert but JDS is the only one who looks close to Velazquez these days and he wasn't all that close in their last fight admittedly

I thought Mark Hunt won on second watch but it was pretty close. Bigfoot just gave up and stopped doing anything and got slumped in the 5th. Was just waiting for his to drop when Hunt was throwing left after left.

Well I can't claim to be an expert but JDS is the only one who looks close to Velazquez these days and he wasn't all that close in their last fight admittedly JDS did what I said in my last post, KO'd an injured Cain in the first round to win the belt. The following two fights Cain completely ruined him. Werdum is a good fighter, but he won't beat Cain in their upcoming bout. However, if Cain does take it to the ground Werdum will be more likely to attack off his back than JDS did. A lot of people were talking about Overeem/Cain being the dream match, but Reem ruined that by being woeful. The other two names who may present Cain a challenge are Daniel Cormier - Who won't face Cain due to being team mates, and is looking like moving to LHW. The second is Jon Jones, who has said he will be moving up to HW so I can see him having a shot at Cain this time next year, or sometime in early 2015. I don't think Jones can beat Cain though, purely because Cain will be so much stronger, I expect their fight will be very similar to what happened to Chael when he moved up to take on Jones for the belt at LHW. Lot of good stuff already set up for next year, the return of my second favorite fighter of all time BJ Penn as he takes on Frankie Edgar for the third time, this time at Featherweight though (Which is the most fucking sensical thing Penn has done in years). Not to mention UFC 169, which looks stupidly stacked. Main Event of Cruz/Barao in the unification match. A co-main of Aldo/Lamas for the Featherweight belt. And Mir/Reem on the card as well.

Yeah no doubts that nobody can touch Cain in this form. Everyone's just gonna have to wait for him to slide on his own and then capitalise because I can't imagine any current fighter beating Cain in his prime.

Cormier is fighting Rashad in February I think.
In saying that being team-mates isn't really an excuse when it comes to title fights, if Cormier became #2 in the division and was offered a title shot he wouldn't say no.

GSP just officially vacated his title, and has put himself on an indefinite break.

Saw that coming tbh after his cryptic retirement speec after he won the last time. I guess it'll be fun to see some other guys battle it out for the title now and then there's always the chance he'll make a return one day and in turn shake things up again.
