It’s been a very quiet window so far hasn’t it.
6 weeks until the window slams shut in England and it feels like the following still needs to / might happen: pogba & lukaku out, whoever in, Icardi out, eriksen out, whoever in, griezmann to barca, maybe neymar too, Coutinho or dembele possibly out, joao felix to Atlético, de ligt to Juve/Barca. Sane to Bayern? Any other big ones I’ve missed? Of course Madrid have already spent the guts of £250m.
While all that happens the rest of the market goes mad. Can see why it looks like we might not be doing anything.
Edit: top 6 in England have spent £15m between them so far.
In fact: Arsenal, Burnley, Chelsea, Palace, Everton, Leicester, Liverpool, City, Newcastle, Norwich, Sheff Utd, Spurs & Watford haven’t spent a penny on anybody of note and Wolves have only signed Raul Jiminez permanently. A lot to be done in 6 weeks.

I think once all the international tournaments are over and done with we’ll see more activity. We’ve had Nations League, U21 Euros, Euro qualifiers and now ACoN since the start of this month.
It’s mad that we’re only 3 weeks removed from the end of the European season. I think some deals will be done but won’t be announced until there’s no other big news to detract from the attention. Social media is so important to a club’s reputation and finances now that they’ll want to capitalise on the quiet periods as much as possible. Just look at when we announced Fabinho last year. Two days after the final and before the World Cup started. We haven’t had any respite from football yet.

Well Lyon have finally announced that midfielder from Brazil, Jean Lucas, to replace Ndombele, so I assume we'll be pipped by City for his signing any day now.

We've agreed a fee so it's just a matter of time until this one falls through

Torn between being excited to (maybe) see a new name at the Club and being unable to shake the thought that in all the footage I've seen of him, he's looked like Zokora. I suppose it's the potential and ol' Didier was a few years his senior at the time we got him, so maybe Poch will work his magic.
As an aside I'll be pretty disappointed if this Clarke lad from Leeds is being signed in lieu of Sessegnon.
TL;DR spurs fan in spurs fan being perpetually pessimistic shocker

Not sure that Clarke lad will work out. There's a cracking player in there but not sure if it's as a winger or through the middle. Tailed off massively after his health scare too

Holy fuck, I am a fan of Wan-Bissaka but if you're going to spend £50m on a right back why is it going to be Wan-Bissaka

Tailed off massively after his health scare too Not the first time I've seen someone who's watched enough Leeds to know say that about his second half of the season. £8.5m rising to £13.5m as well, much rather we put that towards Fulham's apparent valuation of Sess.

Clarke absolutely terrorised us that first half at the Riverside, went off at half time then rushed to hospital in the 2nd half and hasn't been the same since.

£50m is madness, but he should be a good signing. We still need at least 2 or 3 more signings definitely a CB and a midfielder.

Who gives a fuck about transfer fees anymore in the Prem? You’re not going out of business and it’s not your money, just get excited you’re getting someone better than Valencia and Young at right back...

Aye but when you compare it to what we're meant to be paying for Tierney it's mental
