JRM wants this to drag on for as long as possible. Uncertainty is great for him and his sort to profit from.
Corbyn wants to leave the EU anyhow and no deal will strengthen his claim for the top job.
Theresa May just wants anything so she can walk away with her £100k per annum pension and do speeches for £250k.

I don’t think Corbyn is stupid enough and power hungry enough to want no deal for the sake of his chances of becoming PM because he recognises that taking over after we’ve left with no deal is a poisoned chalice. I think he’s been too honest with people (wow I feel political) because if he had lied and said he wanted to stop Brexit he would’ve gotten a massive amount of people onside. He’s a socialist, the EU doesn’t represent his principles, he’s honest in his scepticism of the EU but I’ve got no doubt he doesn’t want no deal.

Mad to think that if Theresa May hadn’t called that election this would all have been done and dusted by now.

If by "done and dusted" you mean in a never ending implementation period where we have to follow EU laws but have no say on them or no legal means of exiting, then yes.
Labour's true colours continuing to show today. After voting down Joanna Cherry's motion that would actually have ruled out no deal, they are all over the press saying that by voting for the motion last night they have no ruled out no-deal. This is a flat out lie. All the motion does it force TM to ask for an extension. The EU can say no and then we have no deal.

With the DUP not budging and the ERG in a rage surely Corbyn calling a no confidence vote now would be a toss up at the very least?
I still think the last minute pivot by her to No Deal by her is a distinct possibility.

Had an appointment in Westminster this afternoon and happened to walk past Jacob Rees-Mogg in the street. It took all my strength not to slap him.

Done for no other reason than ego and “optics” back home. The protests he’s facing every weekend should be a cautionary tale to anyone taking the TIG lot seriously.
