As if the DUP weren’t a laughing stock already, their executive conference tonight is something I imagine armando ianucci will use in the future.

Easily the worst run political party in the world. No goal or strategy except to thwart Sinn Fein 😂
Sammy Wilson has been in charge of their Brexit ideology from the beginning who has sought nothing short of a hard Brexit. Utterly deluded. It’s crazy how Boris knew how to play them, oh let’s build a bridge between NI & UK

I wish I could find the words for the utter stupidity going on in Spain from Puidgemont's lot. Was always a risk mind.

The reason why we have a the titles first minister in NI, and a deputy first minister, despite having a joint office and identical powers is so fucking silly. Unionists needed something to sell to unionism so they would feel above the nationalists. Thinking of Ian Paisley referring to mcguinness as my deputy…Wonder how quick we will see arguments to rename the roles.

Somewhat of a rhetorical question but is there any actual reason anybody now has to vote Labour?
Because even "at least they're not the Tories" doesn't feel like much of a pull right now.

I don’t even think that’s valid anyway he’s only targeted swing voters and hasn’t done any work to get the alienated left back on side. There was a piece on the local ITV news last week about how he’s convinced the CEO of Iceland or something to switch allegiances from the Tories and I don’t get celebrating that?
I don’t think I’ll ever vote for them again to be honest. They’re rotten and I’d rather vote for an independent and be happy about my vote after the fact

Quite fitting that it's going to be his reaction to claims of anti-Semitism that brings Starmer's Labour down. Genuinely don't think he'll get them into power because they've alienated nearly all of their core voter base Whilst trying to chase the votes of Telegraph and Daily Mail readers.

imo the Tories are such a clusterfuck right now that he'll still get in by default. But none of the structural issues the country is facing will change because he doesn't have any policies to address them. All the press barons he's bent over backwards for will turn on him soon enough, the business leaders will flock to back the winning horse and we'll get an even more far right Conservative government in 2029. Ironically, the Labour right is full of careerists and opportunists who'll be more than happy to stab him in the back when shit finally hits the fan too lol.
