I do the most mind-numbingly boring job ever, but get paid decent money to do so and get to watch Netflix whilst working 4-day weeks. It'll do.

I'm about halfway through working out my (3 month) notice period. Planning to take some time off - anything from 3 months up to a year. Will still keep an eye on the market for jobs but will only go for something that's really good.
The project I'm running won't be anywhere near done by the time I leave, so I've been handing everything over to another guy. Now I'm basically sat here wasting time for 8 hours a day and answering 1 or 2 queries he has. Trying to manoeuvre gardening leave without going full on cunt-mode as it's quite feasible they offer me some ridiculous day rate to help finish this project once I'm gone.

Work for Ideal Boilers who sponsor West Brom. Make control boxes that go on the boilers and my job is to clip two blocks into the box one on either side, bang a back on it, put a barcode sticker on it then put it on a trolley. Do 324 of them in a 9 hour shift (need 36 an hour but you can easily do 50). Nothing slightly interesting, but passes surprisingly quick.

I'm starting a 3 month secondment working in Manchester starting in October. Work won't pay for my accomadation but will pay travel expenses so I'm going to have to do a daily commute from Dublin - Manchester Monday- Thursday. Should be bundles of fun

You're that fucking mascot aren't you that's why you spend all your time on Netflix you're literally only needed 90 minutes a week

Your company hate you oh they definitely do but for the wages it's probably worth it and I'm only working 4 days a week because they're factoring in my travel time (just the flight itself)

I had a job interview last week for warehouse manager, felt like I done well. Was asked if I would be available to attend a training day on 5th September, how much notice I had to give in my current job. What my ideal salary would be (seriously, how the fuck do you answer this correctly?) and was told I'd hear back hopefully within the week.
Emailed them today asking for feedback and got a reply saying they're still interviewing candidates and I'd find out if I was successful or not next week.
Waiting games shite man, esp with a waiting game on getting a house, I'll be in the priory at this rate

If an employer ever asks you your ideal salary, never sell yourself short, there is an idea this is what some people think employers are looking for but abolsutely not
