I make City favourites, hard to split Arsenal and Chelsea and I couldn't say with any confidence who will get 4th. If I was pushed I'd probably go for United.
Can't help but feel if City hit top form they could go on an incredible run, if they sort out their away form it's hard to look past them.

City will win I think. Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool to make up the rest of the Top 4.

Think if we sort out our away form, and City do too then it'll be close between the two of us with Arsenal finishing third. Can see Arsenal losing some steam as the season goes on, but I don't expect them or Liverpool to fall out of the top 4.

won't win the title but if we're to have any chance of getting top 4 we've have to avoid defeat in at least 2 of the 3 away games against Spurs, Chelsea and City.

Arsenal have played it perfectly creating a buffer for them so far. Got some real tough away games post-Christmas as well as Chelsea and City twice. They're in title contention, but I don't think they'll win it. Their form atm is ridiculous, has been all year. Be very surprised if it continued for another 6 months though, at the rate they have been. Just doesn't seem plausible.
Chelsea are in it too. 4 points off top and they've been fairly average? this year. Well not average, but certainly not as good as they can be.
City are City and will beat virtually everyone at home with ease, it's their away form that will decide whether they can win the league. I reckon they're best set.
Liverpool/United fighting for 4th (United may challenge higher should one of the above three tail off). We'll finish close to both clubs, but not close enough.

Normally I'd say Arsenal would usually fall off like they've done in the last few years but there's something really different about them this season - there seems to be a constant air of confidence about their play, and they seem to be picking up three points every week when other sides are occasionally dropping points. City and Chelsea are the other two obvious competitors but I still think both sides have their weaknesses. Chelsea seem to lack a lot up top and rely heavily on their - albeit spectacular - midfield, and City are really weak at the back sometimes, highlighted last night, conceding two silly late goals.
I don't think we're in with a shout to be honest. We lack a solid midfield and rely far too much on Suarez and Sturridge. We've improved so much on our back four but Rodgers is rotating our two centre backs more often than necessary and it'll only cause trouble, eg. Hull. I'd be delighted to see us finish in the top four but it'll mean that both Spurs and Utd will have to be sacrificed, and with the way Everton are playing, they can't be ruled out either.
The real pressure seems to be on Spurs/Villas Boas right now, so it'll be interesting to see how they handle it. We play them next weekend too, which could be a real decider for both teams' outcomes this season.

we've won at the champions, i want a mention
while we're definitely not contenders for the title, our next 3 games are Southampton (H), Palace (A) and Stoke (H). 7 points out of 9 and we'll be right amongst it for the Champions League places

This could end up being so similar to 03/04, with us taking 4th on the last day. Except United will be in the relegation zone this time and Chelsea will have gone through four managers by the end of one season.

United won't get top four unless they get some serious improvement in January. They're just not good enough.
Worth mentioning that we got most of our points last season from December to March, so these next few months are crucial for us. It might just click at the right time.

This season is strange as usually we don't pick up our performances during the second half of the season/last 12 games or so but this season and all year tbh we have been doing well so I don't no what will happen. Tbh though before the season started I said I think due to all the managerial changes that it was our time. Think we can do it but as said this month is a big month for us (Arsenal).
if we win the league this year I can only see us getting stronger though tbh

Suppose I'm not that surprised to see the top 2 teams largely written off in this thread. I thinks gonna be between arsenal and city now but I am surprised a lot of people don't see Liverpool in a CL position by the end of the season. We've definitely got some bad form coming our way but I still fancy us for 3rd this season.

City will probably win the league.
United will pick up some form eventually, probably when they get RVP and Carrick properly back - surprise, surprise 2 points from 4 games since the Arsenal win and Carrick hasn't played a minute, and will be closer than people think right now. Would probably write them out of winning it now though purely because of the amount of teams challenging.
