Speaking of people who want to be paid to aspouse their views on how to fiddle the system for themselves and their mates, 4/5 SkySports pundits agree unaniomously, raving lunatic and out of work for over a decade manager/pundit/disabled children hater, Glenn Hoddle, is the only logical choice for next England manager.

I've not seen the full story and there apparently is more to come but still, he can't be advising people how to break his employers rules, his position became untenable as soon as he did. Any other high profile role would be the same. Southgate on a temporary until Wenger is available in the summer? Pls no But his advice was to go to another country where it still happens (third party ownership). There's got to be more to it than his comments from yesterday and from tomorrows Telegraph story it looks like there is a lot more to come. 8 other Premiership managers implicated in tomorrow's story but their names have been redacted. Must be some amount of cash being paid in lawyers fees this week. One manager apparently gave players a pay rise in return for them paying half the rise straight back to him in cash. They name that as "long-serving manager". Arsene? Also seen some suggestions that this is the build up to a massive reveal on Friday.

It'll be someone like Pulis or Hughes

We've long had a culture of running any given managers name through the mud in this country and it leaves you with a list of viable national managers including Nigel Pearson who cant get a win in the second division and Alan Pardew whos main accolade in football is a few minutes off the Spurs bench in the 1995 Intertoto cup
We should never have gone for a shady chancer like Allardyce and should've gone for the squeaky clean, readily available triffic one

Olivier I've only seen BBC world news reporting of it and they're saying about how he advised them how to break/bypass FA rules, not seen actual quotes etc... Manager who took 50% of a payrise was English. Pardew?

You can tell Pardew has done some dodgy shit just by listening to him talk. If he isn't somehow implicated I'll be shocked.

Klinsmann or Hoddle again for me but don't think either will be considered.
If we have to go English and safe then Howe would be my choice but don't think he will be considered either.
I assume they'll let all this dodgy stuff settle down before even thinking about it.

Considering his past comments, I don't think Hoddle would fare too well in his next incarnation

Hoddle is an absolute dinosaur and should be nowhere near any managerial job in 2016.

So is everyone else who's had the job the last ten years.
Give it to Ron Atkinson.

It's about time Messiah Keegan rolled back that rock and got his managerial notes out again.
There's no way Keegs could ever get involved in anything criminal without cocking something up at some point, or all known forces of fortune and luck going against him, therefore preventing him from any wrongdoing at any point. Hire him for he is an angel.

I'm still not sure what I think about Allardyce going. Some of the stuff he said from an employers point of view weren't good, but its basically what the entire country have been thinking for years anyway and this was in a supposedly private conversation. He is ridiculously stupid for getting involved in something like this anyway, but I don't really see what he has done wrong. There has to be more video evidence that the FA have cos what he said from the stuff we've seen isn't exactly that bad. The big the Telegraph left out was him saying any decision has to go through the FA first so it's not like he signed some shady backroom deal without anyone knowing. The £400k thing is greedy as fuck when hes being paid £3m a year anyway, but public speaking isn't really a new thing and if someone wants him to go and talk to people about things then hes well within his right to demand any money he wants for that. Every sports person does it.
Fuck knows where we go from here, Southgate might be decent as his time with the u21s could see a few of them being called up. Hopefully we see JWP get his chance since hes the u21 captain. Cant believe nothing more is being said about the Telegraph though, absolutely ridiculous for them to try and set up (clearly Sam helped them succeed with that cos hes an idiot) the England manager.
