Managers as of the end of the season. So for example, Leeds sacked Howard Wilkinson mid way through the 96/97 season and so isn't an answer, his replacement finished the season and thus he would be a possible answer. If he's still employed as a manager now.

No.
To be clear, it'll be straight no's even if you get 1 of the 2 right.

Just gonna type a load of shite here and see if I can at least help. I assume it's okay to look at the table from that season?
Well Robson was our manager and he isn't working anymore so I can rule one out for ya lads!
George Graham will probably be another no longer working.
I'd guess Ruud Gullit or Glenn Hoddle were Chelsea manager so there's another down.
Fergie obviously was United manager.
Redknapp was probably West Ham manager and he's not working unless he's manager of some Asian country.
Keegan was Newcastle manager? And Dalglish Blackburn both out of work.
Liverpool manager could have been Roy Evans? Really not sure on that one.
Fuck knows who Villa manager was probably too early for John Gregory. So whoever was their manager is a possibility.
Sheff Wed no clue, Leicester was O'Neill so he is one assuming you mean working anywhere? Wimbledon probably Joe Kinnear so another no.
Spurs will be Hoddle or George Graham I'd guess.
Leeds I have no clue, too early for David O'Leary and if they sacked Wilkinson then I dunno.
Derby another where I have no idea, Everton was probably Joe Royle.
Southampton could have been Alan Ball. Coventry was Strachan that season because they stayed up on the last day instead of us.
Strachan and O'Neill must be the answer?
Only other 2 teams left were Sunderland who I take it was Peter Reid and Forest but I dunno who their manager was back then.
