Why does it seem like Rodgers is the only QB who does that 12 men on the field shit and he seems to do it every fucking week.

Genuinely hadn't realised how fucking sensitive white Americans are over a flag and anthem. Reading some of the comments on Facebook and Twitter about people sitting during the anthem and it's fucking mental.

Genuinely hadn't realised how fucking sensitive white Americans are over a flag and anthem. Reading some of the comments on Facebook and Twitter about people sitting during the anthem and it's fucking mental. I remember when American Sniper came out I thought I'd give the book a read. Then I read an excerpt where the guy was saying he'd basically lose his shit if he was at a sports game and someone didn't remove their hat during the national anthem or didn't put their hand on their heart. After that I thought fuck reading your book ya looney. They take such a weird personal offence to it.

I don't know how I didn't realise until now but it's crazy.
"IF YOU DONT STAND FOR THE FLAG, YOU'RE SHITTING ON ALL THOSE WHO DIED TO GIVE YOU YOUR FREEDOM, IT IS UNAMERICAN!"
I get that there's a few crazies in the world and we probably have some who think the same but on the ESPN Facebook page there's fucking hundreds of the weirdos! How about they're kneeling to draw attention to the terrible injustices that occur in America specifically towards black people? And if people died to give you freedom isn't this part of expressing that freedom? It doesn't mean "I'm sitting because I want to shit on the veterans specifically".
Another one that cracks me up is "I stopped watching the NFL because of millionaire cry babies kneeling during the anthem, that flag and country allowed them to make millions and they're crying about it!" ermm hello I don't think they're protesting about themselves specifically you fucking inbred twat.

what do wilson and bevell honestly go over when they look at those tablets on the sidelines? "so you'll see, russ, doug was about to break into his route but unfortunately there were four packers preparing to put you on your ass" "gosh, darrell you're right. go hawks" I hate Bevell's playcalling so much. Amount of times we were in 3rd and long because he never calls quick rhythm throws just baffles me. Worst decision of the game was the PI no call on Graham in the endzone mind

Also Earl Thomas is a fucking don, all over the field all day. Missed him. Missed football.

Side note: if anyone can watch a game with Tony Romo in the booth, you absolutely need to. He called multiple plays seconds before they happened spot on, and it was really fucking interesting listening to him present the ins and outs of the game in an understandable way. Probably the best commentary I've ever listened to. This montage makes it almost come across as annoying but I'd imagine in the course of the full game it'd be hugely interesting, especially the last one with Cooper where he explained why he saw it coming.

It definitely wasn't annoying at the time, because it was within the course of general conversations and regularly Nantz asked him specifically what he thought was coming up which he provided accurate responses to. Plus like I said he did a great job of explaining plays thoroughly; it wasn't just him saying "this is about to happen, this is about to happen" etc, etc, thankfully.
I really hope he isn't asked to tone it down. They look like they're gonna make a great team.

Nah I wouldn't find that annoying tbh I've got a lot of time for that kind of expertise on show.
Any particular reason there are two MNF games? Denver are kicking off at 3:20.

Is there anything more mawkish than the way the US deals with national disasters?
EDIT: Ah I see you've already discussed this.

Lol I knelt for the American anthem at Wembley last year. Fuck your anthem ya weird cunts. As a staunch republican, our anthem was so much better when I saw the Giants at Twickenham. Mostly cause we didn't draw every syllable out for half a minute.
