After getting a few recommendations off of Bollo, have spent the last few days flying through different podcasts at work.
Started with Arsecast, obviously. Maybe it's his Irish twang, idk, but I enjoy this one more than most other Arsenal content.
Then gave The Spanish Football Podcast a go with Phil Kitromilides and Sid Lowe. Really enjoyed this one too, really good run down of the Spanish league that didn't spend too much time on the top two.
After that, went for some of Bollo's picks. Guardian Football Weekly was probably the best pick, covered more than enough within the hour and was quite funny at times.
Football Ramble wasn't for me, less about actually discussing football rather than just pissing about this week. That said, On The Continent was great, mainly because this week they focused on Milan and the issues they're suffering which is something I wanted to know a bit more about.
Then went on a tangent and ended up listening to Greg James podcast with James Anderson throughout the Ashes that surprisingly was quite funny too, mainly because Anderson has a dour sense of humour.
Lastly, remembered the hype surrounding Athletico Mince with Bob Mortimer. Fully not appropriate to listen to at work when people are asking why you're giggling, and I have no idea how Mortimer can have such a vivid imagination without having a serious drug problem.
I did have a gander for an NFL podcast, saw Neil from Sky had Inside the Huddle but that's iTunes only so it's a no. If anybody has any suggestions for a good, UK NFL podcast, I'd be open to it.

How can you be arsed listening to that much about footy? I get enough of it just watching it on a weekend.
I tend to listen to true crime podcasts.
Pretty sure Inside the Huddle isn’t iTunes only though, I’ve got it on PocketCasts.
Main podcasts I listen to, although I’ll skip them if I’m not bothered about the specific episodes subject.
True Crime Garage Joe Rogans Podcast Sword & Scale CBS Fantasy Football Today Boxing Coalition Generation Why Lore
Others that have finished but were brilliant
S-Town Serial(1st Season)

Been that sort of rota, I'll listen to anything at the moment.
Will have a look to see if I can find inside the huddle elsewhere then.

Casefile is by far my favourite true crime one. The best UK NFL podcast is The NFL Show with Nat Coombs and Michael Carlson but fuck UK, the best NFL one is Around the NFL. Serial is great and I even enjoyed the second season. The Butterfly Effect with Jon Ronson was out recently and is excellent. Revisionist History is really interesting as well. Just so I'm not repeating myself I'll just make a massive list now, I work outdoors and by myself often so I was getting through about 5 podcasts a day in the summer. These are all true crime ones, find them by far the most interesting to listen to.
Casefile Dirty John In the Dark Beyond Reasonable Doubt They Walk Among Us Accused Black Hands Untold Young Charlie
In fact I can't recommend Untold enough, all about a murder that spans into the Murdoch empire and phone hacking, proper jaw on the floor stuff if you haven't heard it before.

Everyone should listen to Unfiltered with James O’Brien, I’ve found every one to be fascinating so far he’s a great interviewer. The one with Bill Browder was jaw dropping, I had no idea about his story going in so it blew me away
I like Scroobius Pip’s one he has really diverse guests and good conversations, he had a great one with Aisling Bea and they talk ahout men’s mental health and I think everyone ahould listen to that wee segment
Dad Wrote A Porno though I haven’t kept up with Book3.

#FreeBTS I’ve got both casefile and dirty John saved on my pocketcasts but haven’t properly got into them yet. Casefile is the Australian one right?

I used to listen to Around the NFL but I just can’t get down with it at all. Seems like there’s too many gimmicks and they make too much effort to try to be funny. Most people like it though so my opinion on it probably isn’t the best one.
The CBS one is my go to NFL one, I listen to inside the huddle occasionally, I just prefer them to get straight into it than fannying about being stupid.

Have been listening to Bruce Prichards at work, I get the feeling he holds back a lot of stories and dirt on people, they recap some stories I've heard hundreds of times over, but its still insightful and you can relive the attitide era over and over

I thought the Bruce Prichard one was alright but too often just ends up being repeating what happened without actually revealing anything. When he pushes for a topic and gets to choose it often ends up better than the fan vote. Plus he’s a bit of a dick.

Everyone should be listening to The Big Interview by Graham Hunter. The interviews tend to dive into areas the players/managers/celebs haven't spoken about much publicly before. Hunter himself is a fascinating character who grew up in Aberdeen but finds himself as the journalist most trusted by the Barcelona players and many of Spains. He is usually UEFA/FIFA's delegate who stays with the Spain team during tournaments and his books on Barca 08-12 and Spain during the same era are incredible. The access he gets to the players and the camp is unrivalled, even being in the dressing room during Spains World Cup win celebrations and Barca's CL win at Wembley. His story of him and Pique's search for the goal nets after the World Cup final is fantastic.
The Magic Sponge was a really good one by Dave. It had Jimmy Bullard and Rob Beckett as hosts with guests from footballs yesteryears on. Although they haven't had any new episodes for a while the old ones are pretty timeless so I'd recommend a listen. Moslty for Bullards stories around the drinking culture around clubs when he started.
The True Geordie Podcast is surprisingly good. If you avoid the early ones with youtubers etc. he has moved on to getting some really interesting guests on. Guys who have had a massive journey in life like the son of the Yorkshire Rippers first victim and a guy who spent decades on death row for a crime he didn't commit.

Olivier the magic sponge are on a new series currently, there’s been about 5 episodes out recently. No Bullard on most of them though
