Desperate not to give Lewis a tow down to turn 1.
Absolutely dreadful driving. The letter of the law will probably spare him.
Monumental chance of a point for Russell.

Interesting to see if there's any residual effect of whatever happened to Hamilton's brakes at the start there
Ferrari double points finish in Italy inbound though

I'd still take the Brazillian and Italian ones over it, but it is probably the only slow paced one I can get behind.
Expecting there to be drama at the start and then it to be the first dull race in a while.

Risk of overhyping it a bit but get the formula 1 on at 10am - turkey track has been delayed, it's also rained, it's like an ice rink.

There’s a clear distinction between Hamilton and Verstappen and the rest of the field. They’re miles ahead. I think Red Bull finally looking outwards and bringing in Perez will be huge as well. Albon/Kvyat/Gasly (Gasly in the RBR car anyway) wouldn’t have salvaged as much from those circumstances as he did. If they’re serious about going for the constructors then they need both of those two to be as good as they were today. I have a feeling Bottas is going to let Mercedes down massively this season as well and as the season winds down I think we’re possibly looking at Mercedes having a brand new lineup for 2022.
I’m excited for this year though. It’s the season that was never meant to be and I’m hoping we get a nice, competitive close to this chapter because otherwise this era of F1 won’t be known for much more than Merc and Hamilton dominance.

I'm not falling for it just yet - the Red Bull's look much the quickest car so far, but that's primarily because they've screwed over the low-rake cars which is why Aston Martin are going to have a shocking season. If Hamilton could keep Verstappen behind him relatively easily (given the speed difference in tyres and the speed traps too) then I reckon it won't be as close a season as many are hoping for. Max will run away at some tracks, Lewis at others. Bottas and Perez may scrape the odd win.
It's still an improvement on recent seasons mind.
Oh and Mazepin is fucking hopeless but if his teammate was called Mick Johnson he wouldn't have even got a sniff of a drive - Haas are going to do well not to finish last this season.

If you ever wondered how you'd do driving an F1 car, check out Mazepin's performances so far this season
