Bottas needs putting in his place as a number two driver or else Lewis risks losing this championship

Mazepin by the way. Almost feels like he’s getting piled on every weekend at this point and for some I’d feel sorry but he’s a dickhead and genuinely does seem to be that bad. I’ve never seen a team principal’s comms to the race director in the broadcast before.

I think he was asking for the blue flags sooner rather than saying he was blocking him. It’s clear once Mazepin got the blue flags he did move over so actually don’t think I can blame Mazepin for it actually, don’t think there’s anyone at fault at all other than Toto because like you say he wasn’t close enough for the flags to come out.

Big hit of BBC nostalgia. Likeable Humphreys, DC and EJ and Lewis before he got serious and started dominating.

Really hope he doesn't get a penalty on parts. Otherwise Verstappen drives away with it.

No serious damage on Leclerc’s gearbox on first inspection. I really wonder how hard Max will go for it at the start.

Red Bull will fancy themselves in the pit stops so I wouldn’t be surprised if they just told Max to just sit on Leclerc’s gearbox and wait for an error or try and beat him with strategy. It’s not exactly a track you want to be following on for obvious reasons but it will allow him to save fuel so if Leclerc pits first he’ll have a lap of just being able to pelt the car before pitting himself.

Are we operating under the assumption that the Red Bull will have a race pace edge over the Ferrari because not much about practice suggests that to be true
Assuming there's no grid penalty Max's biggest hope is the start or a Leclerc error
