Vettel has really left a lot to be desired in wheel to wheel racing these last couple of seasons. He’s gonna lose the championship with the fastest car at this rate and it’ll be 100% his fault.

Similar to Red Bull (and I think it's partly the reason why Alonson/Hamilton have never held him in as high a regard as they do each other), he needs a perfect car in a perfect team to excel. When he's challenged, when the car doesn't do as he likes, when he's pressured, he crumbles.

Ricciardo beating him h2h in that one season they had at Red Bull really is telling in hindsight. If Leclerc gets the Ferrari drive next season he could have a similar problem.

Surprised he didn’t just retire tbh. I know Sauber was his first team so it might be sentimental but I don’t know what Kimi has to gain by that move.

Hamilton has pretty much refused not to win the WDC this season

Another Ferrari and Vettel tandem cock-up, this time in qualifying.

Can't handle the pressure at all. Not even in the same league as Hamilton.

I reckon if F1 fucked Tilke off and get someone with a bit of creativity to design tracks I’d come back to it. Vietnam GP track looks absolutely shite, standard Tilke fare of a long back straight, long pit straight and a somewhat quick, technical section. No nuance to any of his tracks at all. Dunno how he created Istanbul and can’t even come close to it now.

That Williams look every bit the back marker you'd expect.
That Haas looks mean.

Renault releasing theirs tomorrow. Merc, Racing Point (can't get used to that) and Red Bull on Wednesday. McLaren Thursday, Ferrari Friday and Alfa Romeo (can't get used to that either) next Monday.
