So we're linked with Batistuta, Arteta, Reizeger etc.
We're going to get someone who got done for Affray and could not pass his coaching exams instead.
IN GIBSON WE TRUST

No word of a lie I saw the picture first and thought Owen Coyle had lost a bit of weight.

Loads of people always come out and say they want the Boro job when it’s available, mainly because of Gibson, you know you’ll get time and you’ll get money if the money is there.
Not that it matters like if we end up with Woodgate. I mean I’ll give him his fair shot but he doesn’t strike me as someone who will make a great manager, he’s dense as fuck.
We could have our pick of anyone who has never managed before because we’ve always proven to be a great club to start at and yet we go with the jobs for the boys.

Although the clearing of the back room staff yesterday makes me think it’s not Woodgate, I would have thought that at least Fleming and a few others would have stayed.

Batistuta is not being considered due to his lack of managerial experience.
The favourite for the job is someone who has twice failed his UEFA B License and has no managerial experience.

Jokanovic is being interviewed tomorrow, would love him but I hope this isn't like when Southgate got the job. "Look we tried to get O'Neill, Ottmar Hitzveld etc and it just didn't work out!".

Maskya Yoshida John Terry is also under consideration lol. I mean I can't stand the twat but he'd probably make a good manager.

Will give it a proper read when I'm back on WiFi but generally, I've been surprised at how expensive tickets are for lower league games. £25 quid to go see Northampton scrape to safety in League Two or £30 to go to the Emirates for a Cat C game, or even £10 to go watch Arsenal ladies and hang around for a chat with the players after.
Sky haven't helped either by building the entire Championship brand around PL or bust, richest game in football etc...

It's basically asking if the current model is sustainable, will we see a move towards an NFL type model with a more localised system underneath it (I think that kind of thing is pretty inevitable really). Also the tension between clubs being a community hub and also needing to be ran like a corporate business.
From an Irish POV it's just another kick to get our own house in order (lol FAI) - the amount of Irish players littered across the lower leagues that'll suffer if these clubs can't afford to pay them, the knock-on effect would be huge for Irish football.

What you think of Woodgate then ChappyHova? Pleasantly surprised by his press conference to be fair. Then again all this talk of attacking football means fuck all for the fans if we lose the first few matches.
