Elche beat Girona in the 96th minute last night to seal their place in La Liga next season. La Liga which starts in just over 2 weeks time. There is literally no way they're staying up.
Also, I can't quite get my head around what they're doing at Barca - as well as telling many of the established players they can go, they're meant to be trying to cancel the contracts of Suarez, Vidal etc... and expecting them to just agree to it out of good will so that they don't have to pay them what they're owed.
I think if they do force Suarez out, Messi will go.

PSG Marseille was mad. 5 red cards in injury time. Neymar alleging racist abuse early on, and at the end smacking the guy in the back of the head to get sent off.

Barcelona have had some day.
Suarez flies back from Italy having taken the tests requires to gain citizenship/work permit for his move to Juventus. The moment he lands, he finds out Pirlo has gone for Dzeko instead.
Then Setien files notice that he's taking the club to court because he hasn't formally been sacked, which means Koeman can't officially be registered as manager and must sit in the stands.
And to round it off, the socios delivered their call-in for a vote of no confidence having reached the threshold required.

Atletico' free signing Luis Suarez comes on for 20 minutes and grabs two goals and an assist. Why on Earth Barca were so clear to get rid I don't know. Really keen to see what Koeman's Barca look like in an hour or so.
Meanwhile, I thought Dortmund losing 2-0 to Ausberg yesterday was a shock but Hoffenheim turned Bayern over 4-1?!

If you look at the numbers he put up during his time at Barca you’d be baffled at how they could treat him like that. Second highest ever goal scorer for the club?

Definitely think he's been shafted unfairly, but if you want a side that puts any pressure on the other side, you can't have him and Messi together? Having him and Vidal off the books (and Rakitic I suppose) takes years off the team and you have Fati and Griezman who have 10x the amount of running in them than Suarez

If you get a minute, have a look at what's going on with Juventus/Napoli.
Napoli unable to travel due to local Covid restrictions, Serie A saying Uefa rules mean they have enough healthy players to play the game so if they don't, it's a forfeit.
Juventus have turned up, named their team and are now milling around waiting to take to the field hoping that it'll give them the forfeit, 3 points, and apparently a 3-0 win with goals being attributed to the teams top scorer.
