Following up from the Ronaldo allegations it appears that Der Spiegel have received leaks that raise the issue of a European Super League the long vaulted idea appears to have some traction according to Der Spiegel. Further leaks talk about FIFA and UEFA aiming to give weaker punishments to City and PSG due to their money and one report of a multiple Champions League winner having been tested positive for doping but without any repurcussions. Will there be any fallout or will it be similar to previous leaks on FIFA corruption? Could the doping test lead to a massive uncovering of doping practices, leading to the deligitimisation of previous trophy wins? And who do you reckon it could be? Does anyone other than the accountants actually want a European Super League? An interesting point I've seen raised is how would the English press respond to Modric being the player caught, and would it lead to claims that Croatia's win in the Semi Final is illegitimate meaning England were cheated out of a Final spot?

Arsenal have stated they are not part of super league plans which I am really happy with. Do not like the idea at all. Man United and Liverpool have refused to comment (according to Sky).

I'd be more surprised if pep's Barca weren't all doping to be honest. How new Fifa can somehow be MORE corrupt than old Fifa would just be impressive though.

Realising that if City lose their titles Juve style it gives two to United but it also means we get one

It’d be absolute shite especially if we went and won it this year as well but I’m sick of hearing the Gerrard chant now

City have already been "punished" for this. They got a £39m fine (the majority of which suspended) and they got a slightly smaller Champions League squad one season. Nothing will happen to them.

Sergio Ramos failed a drugs test was the headline.
The reality, apparently, is that he had taken a banned drug, but it's only banned if the doctor doesn't specify it's use. Real Madrid's excuse was that the doctor, caught up in the Euphoria of winning the Champion's League, wrote down the wrong medicine.
I still find it somewhat surprising just how many injections they give footballers before games.

so the announcement on City's ban is tomorrow. If it is overturned as has been reported from leaks then surely FFP is officially dead. If the ban is upheld or even downgraded to a year then could the FA step in and City face sanctions domestically?

Lol. Ban overturned and replaced with a £10m fine.
Punishment for overspending is to pay more. Retarded.
