9ers had 3 days of really good moves, which is annoying. Kinlaw is a great pick, Williams is a great pickup too and they got value for Brieda and Goodwin who aren't even their top guys, I'd say.
Dallas had some really good picks too.
Green Bay had a horrific draft, so did Oakland (sorry Davey).
I like the Jordyn Brooks pick for us more now I've watched some film on him, less sold on our Day 2 guys, the Tennessee edge rusher looks over reliant on his speed, can't see him working through tackles with power, and the LSU guard looks super slow in picking up his assignments in pass pro. Can't even remember their names.
Day 3 picks are all trash except Colby Parkinson

Seems to be going that we had a really good draft in terms of defensive pickups but I’ll see how it translates to the pros before I get excited. Can’t be much worse than our defense last season though.

From a Saints fan from 2012-2016, believe me, it can...

Jameis Winston has completed more passes to Saints players since 2017 than Taysom Hill. He also has more touchdown passes for the Saints than Hill.

There are 100000000% not 32 better QBs in the NFL than Jameis Winston

I really like the idea of him learning from Brees for a year, plus Payton is a great playcaller for him too. I’m happy with the Move, but that stat is gold

He’s got the physical capability to be a good QB but you can’t coach 20 interceptions out of someone. He’s never been good at taking care of the ball, whether it was in college or in the pros. He fumbles it almost as much as he gets picked as well.

I've decided I am excited about the Arnette pick now. He looks really good, definitely one of the best pure corners in the draft. Yes, he was a reach, and the D would be no worse off having taken someone like MckInney and moving Randall out wide given the later Robertson pick, but I can square it tbh if they really couldn't trade back into the 2nd. Silver linings, 5th year options etc.
The Robertson pick and the Bowden pick look like really good to great value. If Robertson is an inch taller he goes much earlier. He got a ton of ints from jumping plays out of zone coverage (from what I've watched on YT lmao), so it will be interesting to see how that translates to the NFL.
Not sure it's possible to be happy with the Ruggs pick when Jeudy is going to be tearing the AFC West a new arsehole 6 times a year for the next 5 years though. It is what it is I guess.

Patriots incoming? Tbh if I was the Steelers of Jags I’d be having a good look too. Much less of a risk than taking Cam at this stage.

Feel like this deserves context, he’s also thrown the vast majority of his TD’s to 2nd round picks, rather than bums off the street. Of that list and the lists going round, Brees and Rivers have done significantly more of their work with late rounders, UDFA’s and free agents from trades, which I think changes the picture somewhat. Man’s had Jordy Nelson and Davante Adams for the majority of his career, both of whom you could make a case for being the highest echelon of receivers at the time.

For me the point was more about how little help Rodgers has had from his front office in terms of getting top tier weapons (either in the draft or free agency).
