Nah they weren't even any good. Worse than when we beat them 5-2 last time.
That was truly two of the worst performances I've seen from Aberdeen in many, many years.

Just had a thought - players go off at the far side for a sub and walk around the edge of the pitch to get back to the bench. So imagine that happens in the last minute.
Keepers up, opposition breaks, shoot at an open goal from the halfway line. Player runs back onto the pitch and stops the certain goal.
Any idea what would happen? You can send him off but he's already off the pitch so it wouldn't matter.
All I know is I want to see it.

I assume it would have to have similar consequences to fielding an ineligible player (3-0 walkover defeat?).

Illegal touching, defense number 5, player stepped out of bounds, 15 yard penalty, automatic first down.

Was there not a case of a manager stepping into the field to stop a counter attack a few years back? Swear they didn't end up forfeiting

I’d imagine with the current version of the rules it’d be an indirect free kick or penalty, red card for the manager and a ban for the offending player, plus a massive fine.

Worth it tbh. Remember this when Suarez saves a certain goal at the next World Cup in a similar way.

Why did you even think about that hahahahah what's the difference between that and a sub warming up? Or was it just a random thought you had?

Smith Rowe was walking off over the far side of the pitch and I just wondered what'd happen
I also had a couple of vaccines done the other day that have hit me for six so that may have contributed I'm not exactly coherent right now
Guess the difference from a regular sub is that they're only gonna be on the sideline, whereas a player could be by the goalposts on their way back

When are we gonna get that big leap to superstardom from Rashford?
ESPN were asked if he was better than Vardy the other day which had my head rolling.
