They've called in the big guns to launch UEFA's new premier competition. Aberdeen and Hibs are in the draw today for QR2. Glentoran, Larne, Coleraine, Bala Town and TNS all enter in QR1. Spurs join in the playoff round. It's back to two legs but UEFA have said there will be no away fans for the qualifying rounds of the UCL, UEL and UECL. Aberdeen have been drawn with BK Hacken from Sweden. They play in Gothenburg which is where we beat Real Madrid in the 1983 European Cup Winners Cup final. Man that would have been some trip

Nothing to add except there's an incredible theme park in Gothenberg

Managed to get a ticket for the home leg on Thursday in our reduced capacity. First time I'll have been to a home game since Boxing Day 2019!

"If Aberdeen progress against BK Haken in the UEFA Conference League second qualifying round, we will face either Austria Wien (AUT) or Breidablik (ISL) in the third qualifying round".
Lisbon, Gothenburg and now potentially Vienna that Covid has prevented me from going to. Starting to get annoying this pandemic stuff.

5-1 victory tonight with the pick of the goals from Watford/West Ham bound Lewis Ferguson:
Austria Vienna drew 1-1 with an Icelandic mob too so who knows where we'll be off to next. Great feeling to be back at Pittodrie tonight. Held back a wee tear when the teams came out and again the first time Ramsay came across to take a corner and got a huge ovation. Good to get that connection between team and fans back after sitting watching on a laptop for a year.

A 2-0 defeat in Sweden but we still roll on. Breidablik have beaten Austria Vienna so we go to Iceland. Our easiest QR3 in the last 8 years we've been qualifying so we're def blowing it.

Playoff draw was today. All the UK&I interests:
AEL Limassol (CYP) / Qarabağ (AZE) vs Breidablik (ISL) / Aberdeen (SCO) TNS (WAL) / Viktoria Plzeň (CZE) vs CSKA-Sofia (BUL) / Osijek (CRO) Paços de Ferreira (POR) / Larne (NIR) vs Tottenham (ENG) Omonoia (CYP) / Flora Tallinn (EST) vs Shamrock Rovers (IRL) / Teuta (ALB) Laç (ALB) / Anderlecht (BEL) vs Vitesse (NED) / Dundalk (IRL) Vojvodina (SRB) / LASK (AUT) vs Galatasaray (TUR) / St Johnstone (SCO) Bohemian (IRL) / PAOK (GRE) vs Hibernian (SCO) / HNK Rijeka (CRO) Jablonec (CZE) / Celtic (SCO) vs Tobol Kostanay (KAZ) / MŠK Žilina (SVK)
Celtic and St Johnstone are in those ties if they lose their Europa League qualifiers.
Once again the best draw we could have hoped for. We're really never going to get a better chance to qualify for the groups. Iceland first on Thursday!

I'm tired I wondered why you'd dropped Boris Johnson after Dundalk

amazing results for Dundalk, Bohs, St Johnstone and TNS over the past few days. Rovers getting the win a huge result too. Be nice to see any of the LoI clubs on telly now and again The 2nd Dundalk goal was unreal:

Us stealing Englands set-piece coach before the Euros has certainly paid off. Our first goal last night:
Finished a 3-2 win which is disappointing cause we were far better than them. We've just been given the green light for full crowds back so the first one will be the second leg next Thursday.

The quotes from the Breidablik manager after that game were...interesting.
