Jon Hopkins' new album is great too, there was just far too much good music this year to include any songs from it. His album with King Creosote was AOTY 2012 I reckon.

Diamond Mine? Yeah, that album really grew on me. New album is amazing, one of my favourites of the year. Plus, he was incredible at Bestival in the summer, so i wasn't going to let him slip by without any representation, haha.

Has a real wintery feel to it so I'll have to start binging on it some more soon. Can't remember which Jon Hopkins song from the new one that's really like Diamond Mind, instrumentally. Think it might be Abandon Window. Gorgeous if so. |
