Results for Edinburgh and Glasgow expected at around 5/5:30  hopefully get a decent indication anyway at about 2/3. No overall re-counts , can only re-count at local level. Ridiculous considering a 51/49 either way is a serious possibility. polling stations are open until 10 tho? heard that the results for aberdeen, edinburgh and glasgow will be announced tomorrow cos of the amount of votes coming in. |

2 No campaigners have been removed from Polling Stations - one arrested. One an MP, the other a prospective MP.

Some of the smaller polling stations have already closed as they have had 100% of the people registered there along to vote already.

Apathy towards politics will reach new levels if it's No tonight Why? obviously I can't prove it . but it's been such a heated campaign, and with what will probably be a near 50/50 split I think either way a lot of people will lose interest if they're on the losing side. hardcore unionists want nothing to do with an independant Scotland, even if they're a part of it , they won't take part. then you see a lot of Yes voters still hoping for change even with a no vote, due to the impact of the movement, but increased devolution just isn't happening under the Torys . that will completely kill strong yes campaigners enthusiasm imo. |

That'll be the 50+% of voters that didn't bother voting in the last scottish general elections, then. So concerned about Scotland's welfare that they couldn't be fucked going down to a polling station.
