New Black Keys song is fairly good. Sucks not having a laptop - can't download new shiiiit. Not long now for Manchester Orchestra Zack, daveyposhboy.

Pixies are releasing a new album, called Indie Cindy, April 23rd. Shame that it's basically the tracks they've released over the past year or so with a few more added, but still, I enjoyed those EPs anyway. Bit of a cash in as well now they've realised Indie Cindy was by far the best tune that they've released and it was hardly bigged up.

MO have finally nailed the heavy sound. Fuck, seeing them live is going to be class. Tempted to just Stubhub tickets for their April/May shows, even if they are nearly £40 more than face value. Glad as well that they're only releasing the songs that most people had already heard from their HTC show. Means there is still 6 or 7 tracks still unknown!
Cope definitely shows off the transition from Everything.. to Simple Math too. The little touches or notes etc that have been added in, more layers etc like on Simple Math but done in the caked up, grungey Everything to Nothing way. Excited. So excited.

It will be interesting actually, because MO always wanted to be known as a heavy rock band when you listen to Andy talk about stuff, but when you see them live nobody moves because they're not that type of fan. Now though, with the heavy sound, I can see a lot more movement in the crowd. Which is good, I always feel bad because it must be weird for a band to play a gig full of their fans and get little to no reaction during the songs. My copy of Cope was despatched today, looking forward to getting it on Monday. Not checked the stream, just the 3 tracks released previously. Really loving Every Stone though.

That is absolutely stunning. Don't think I've heard anything better so far this year. Beautifully uplifting and life-affirming, that's made to be heard live. Knowing they're releasing new stuff makes me optimistic they'll be at festivals over the summer as well.
