No, not recipes for cloth.
Any of you cunts actually cook or just beans on toast/fish finger sandwiches, or just your parents do it for you?
I've been cooking a lot recently, did curried winter vegetable broth recently which was pretty good. Pretty good at making soups, bread and pies. Probably best at making (veggie) chilli though.
Gonna have a crack at making palak paneer when my flatmate's back. Making the paneer myself as well D:
Can't make a roux sauce for the life of me though.

All I make nowadays is chicken and rice which is barely cooking. Used to make lots of ketosis (low carb as most of you will know by now) food such as caveman chilli, chorizo breakfast casserole, kitchen sink casserole and a few other bits and bobs. But never *really* cooked owt special. I am interested in learning, though.

I do a lot of stir fry type foods like veggie chilli, curries, bolognese etc. I don't have a set of spices like I used to but if I did I'd make my own dishes from scratch. Funds are pretty limited though.

Love cooking man. Used our left over turkey to make a Turkey Masalla from scratch and then more and the leftover ham last night to make a Risotto. Risotto sounds easier than it seems, right bitch to get the consistency decent.
I'd genuinely consider going on something like Come Dine With Me if I could cope with seafood. Can't cook it or eat it so I'd hate half the shit I got presented to me.

I live alone and do all my own cooking. Irish so I stick to meat/veg/potato meals more than you can imagine, want to try more exotic dishes in the new year like Indian, Thai etc. Over December I've been a lazy/cheap arse, saving for presents etc means I've cut my budget down and lived on more basic stuff instead of buying all the veg etc I usually buy. Being home for Xmas has made me miss my mam's cooking/meals made for me something shocking though. All I make nowadays is chicken and rice which is barely cooking. Used to make lots of ketosis (low carb as most of you will know by now) food such as caveman chilli, chorizo breakfast casserole, kitchen sink casserole and a few other bits and bobs. But never *really* cooked owt special. I am interested in learning, though. As a side point, carb free Shepards Pie is pretty decent for Keto

Andres I'm the same, but I know I'd never win cos vegetarians never win! I made spinach, mushroom and halloumi risotto once, it worked out quite well. Consistency was decent. My sister told me over Christmas that it's actually really easy to make if you shove it in the oven, you don't really need to stir it. I'm a little skeptical, myself.

Stuck some baby tomatoes in the oven with some olive oil and balsamic vinegar and tipped them into the risotto when it was done too. Read online about baking them in the oven but if I can compare it to a pasta bake they often dry out on top so put in the graft and didn't try it. You a big fan of meat replacements and the like or just fill stuff out with other veg? I couldn't live without meat, reckon I'd get so hungry too.

I prefer making it in the pan and blasting it in the oven to crisp up the cheese/breadcrumbs on top. Depends on what it is I'm making. Only thing I can think of that actually needs the substitute is chilli, but other things (such as curry) I usually use beans (sometimes peanuts) for the protein and bigger veg like broccoli (which is a bonus for protein), squash, potato, cauliflower, swede, turnip, parsnip etc for the substance. Have used tofu in the past but I tend to not use it cos it goes manky if you don't use the whole block, which is far too much. Cheese works sometimes, like in the risotto I made. Has to be something like halloumi that would soften rather than melt. I've made a veggie shepherds pie using aduki beans (it's called red dragon pie). I really liked it but it took about 3-4 hours to actually make haha.

Stu is a great cook, his chicken dippers and chips are top quality. I'm a decent cook, it's just being arsed to make something. Living back at home has meant I just let my parents cook though cause i'm a lazy cunt.

Most things with mincemeat I excel at. Spag bol, lasagne, chilli, tacos, enchiladas, burritos. I basically live off of pasta, mince and cheese.
Made some white chocolate sauce earlier to go on some chocolate sponge pudding. Bitterly sweet but tasty.

Find tofu not great to cook or eat in all honesty. Girlfriend is a veggie so have used it quite a lot.
I love cooking but like Blue Moon tend not to be arsed after work most days. Though the other day I boiled some spuds and had pan fried chicken and mushroom with some home made gravy. Simple as hell but so tasty compared to some of the shit I eat sometimes. After attempting Christmas dinner on my own over here as well definitely gonna be making more of an effort to cook, especially to make roasties, lovely stuff.
