Fuck offf. Dominated the game, missed a penalty, had a goal disallowed and a 90+3 equaliser (the player's first goal for the club). Classic FM.

Got this on mobile the other day expecting to have a fair bit of free time in the next few weeks. Never know how low to pitch it to start off but went for Oviedo in the Segunda division. Missed out on the playoffs in my first season but met my mid-table expectations, then next year exploited the loan market by bringing in a load of La Liga and PL youngsters on loan, walked the league. Next season the board were arses and wanted me to at least finish mid-table - achieved it after going mad in January and bringing in an entire new defence as I was leaking goals. Went on to fluke a Copa Del Rey win after a piss easy run to the final which has got me into Europe this season. Fortunately they only want a mid-table finish again and I've been able to upgrade all the facilities to a good standard. Just bought my first £30 million wonderkid and I'm torn between trying to move on to a bigger club or sticking around and hoping I can break into the top six in Spain this year and keep progressing without the board getting ideas above it's station.

I've downloaded it on mobile too, started as Dundee United. Shankland scored 64 goals in my first season gonna carry it on tonight

Invincibles at last, it's the first time i've managed this on FM in years. 9 draws is pretty poor tough. Not bad to say the board has given me fuck all money to spend in the last 5 seasons.

Nathan Redmond is fucking terrible on this game. Literally the most ineffective star player I've ever used in any FM.

Stagnating a little now, won the Copa del Rey on penalties, finished 7th and lost to Juve (Zebre) in the quarters of the Europa League. Made a bundle of free signings of youngsters who weren't getting a look in at top teams so I'm hoping to rely on loan players a lot less and start building towards a top four spot. Board have tripled my wage budget and given me £50 million to spend but still only want a mid table finish so I'm hoping to do bits in the market. Annoying how little you can do with finances/training on the mobile game though.

I've been interested in a player for ages and realise his contract expires in 6 months. Gets to 30th December and bang transfer embargo and a possible take over. FFS.

Is it not boring once you get to the stage of winning every game 3-0 or more?

I used to set myself targets to do certain things like go a season unbeaten, finish with a 100+ GD or concede less than 10 goals in a season but it gets old quick.

^ I do that, but at the same time I increase the amount of youth products per season so I gradually become all homegrown. Gets you a good 10/15 seasons out of a game if you're a top tier side from the off anyways.

I started as Aberdeen so 7 seasons in I've won the title 2 in a row but stil have a long way to go before I am winning it comfortably and the furthest I've been in Europe is the CL 1st knockout or the EL quarters. If you want a longer running save then start with a smaller side, or put some limit on yourself like bringing in 1/2/3 of your newgens into the first team each season.
If you really like the "winning everything" side of it there is a challenge going round called Glory Hunter that a youtuber started. 20 years to win the league & major cup competition in England, Italy, France, Germany and Spain. As well as the Champions League, Europa League, Euros and World Cup. Sounds easier than it is due to the time limit and the reliance on particular jobs becoming available at the right time for you. Gives importance to domestic cup games too as if you lose you could be stuck in that nation for another season or have to loop back round if you leave without winning it.

Is it not boring once you get to the stage of winning every game 3-0 or more? It's still pretty challenging at times, i've hardly had any money to spend for the last 4 or 5 seasons. Lost the title to Liverpool last season and only got 82 points and i've only gone unbeaten in a season once. I never seem to get many decent youth players coming through either.
