Haven't heard an elimination pop like Drew on Lesnar since this.

Today I saw a picture of Chris Benoit's son David for the first time and I'm not gonna lie its scary. He looks like a 10x more sinister Chris Benoit and I know I won't sleep tonight. It's haunting

so glad im not as invested in the product anymore. still gonna stay up and watch 20 hours of wrestlemania though Have you been watching any aew? yeah course, so much better tbh. i still have gripes with some of it, but i give it the benefit of the doubt cos its still in an infantry stage when it comes to character development and storytelling in matches. they actually do the opposite of wwe and spoil us with match quality, but when you got nearly every wrestler doing spot heavy matches, the expectation increases and those crazy spots they did one week dont have the same reaction the next. this is why people like cody, jericho and omega are vital to the brand. they’re starting to find that balance of character building and match quality. reckon its only gonna get better for them njpw still my personal favourite out of the promotions though. i get that its style of in-ring psychology is a long term investment, but i find it fascinating. they really tell a story of a character over the course of 2-4 years. naito being the prime example

I watched Revolution last night, was excellent from start to finish. Cody vs MJF was probably the most underwhelming but was still a long way from being bad

ive always loved nxt as a brand but its desperate need to compete with aew weekly has made it decline slightly in quality. dynamite on the other hand just improves

I watched Revolution last night, was excellent from start to finish. Cody vs MJF was probably the most underwhelming but was still a long way from being bad they really remind me of a mixture of prime wcw with some attitude era sprinkled in there There is a bit of something of everything on the roster, I grew up on the WWF stockpiling immobile hosses and bloated sweaty roid men and honestly I must have done a good job at convincing myself I was watching good wrestling, but in the last two years what I've seen from nxt and aew and anything else inbetween just blows it all away. The worst wrestlers of today are honestly better than about 80% of wrestlers even as recent as 20 years ago. WWF put me off wrestling at around the end of 2001 for well over 15 years. As a young English kid I had no real idea of the indies all around the world, or New Japan or anything else so when I was done with WWF I was just done with wrestling for years. But the product of AEW now is like everything I always wanted from a wrestling promotion, and the roster has probably got about 10-15 guys who could be huge stars. Apart from the Elite and the obvious names even guys like Luchasaurus and Orange Cassidy are great and have got the crowds in the palm of their hands. Jericho at 50 and with a beer gut is still awesome, like best in the world kind of awesome, everything he brings to the company still feels so fresh

New Vice documentary about Chris Benoit is up on youtube split in two parts, presented by Chris Jericho. It's a fucking horrible, gruesome story but its definitely worth a watch
Whole of the first series is on there aswell and well worth watching

Still hate the way a lot of people talk about Benoit, especially wrestlers. I get that it’s a complicated situation but the man killed his wife and young son, he’s an absolute fucking monster, yes we need to talk about the issues surrounding what happened but at the end of the day he can rot for all I care. Obviously the story is so interesting that it’s always worth a watch, but I didn’t think the documentary shed much light barring Benoit’s son and Nancy’s sister, they take it to another level. The ending is really moving as well without giving away spoilers. The series as a whole is great though, the lesser known stories more so.

The bits with David Benoit especially are gripping. I've watched a few interviews with him lately, there is something so haunting to me the way he resembles his dad, those cold, dead perma-red eyes man. At the same time I don't think I feel more sympathetic for any other person on the earth. Imagine living his life for like even just a few hours
The Owen Hart episode is going to feature Martha and Owen's son Oje. I'm looking forward to it but that one will hit in the feels more than any for me personally. Owen was my first favourite wrestler
