Didn't Johnson do left back for a while? Couldn't he do play there and put Flannagan at his more natural right back? He seems cack enough as it is without making him play out of position.

Duncan Castles seems to think Glenn Hoddle will replace AVB. Duncan Castles therefore assumes that Daniel Levy, a seemingly astute businessman, would trust a multi-million pound business to be led by a man who would play this team.

I'd love him in central mid tbh but unlikely. I imagine he'll be sold somewhere in January, to Newcastle or Marseille or somewhere and fucking rip shit up Boateng style
if we're going 4231 (which i'm not sure about) then i'd have paulinho/dembele & sandro behind a three of lamela, eriksen & chadli because they're the most technically gifted attackers we've got. lennon & townsend offer a lot from the bench, plus i think not starting townsend constantly will mean he works harder to get better

Went to Arsenal u21's v Sunderland u21. Sunderland won 5-1. Arsenal were so bad, Akpom was awful. Saw Bould and Liam Brady looking like moody bastards.

Howard Coleman - Jags - Distin - Oviedo McCarthy - Barry Mirallas - Barkley - Pienaar Lukaku That's how I expect us to line up. Barkley will almost certainly come in for Osman and as good as he was, I assume Mirallas will step back in for Deulofeu with Gerard being used as an impact sub late on.

Not sure how much I'd want Gylfi at Newcastle. Could be good in a 4-4-1-1 behind Remy mind you, though I get the feeling he'd work better off more of a target man.

Jones suspended tomorrow the plank. Probably be Giggs back in as Cleverley is having a shocking few games and I imagine Fellaini will be in against his old club.
