"Look at Cashis getting petty"

I understand people being club over country, and I understand people not being arsed with international football or really caring how the country does (sort of)
But I can't fahtom actually hoping someone scores against the team

I don't even care tbh. I'm entitled to my opinion on the national side. You don't like it, fine.

If you don't want your opinions challenged don't post them on a forum.

Challenge them all you like, I just don't care for what you think about it. I'm not going to see the error of my ways because you don't like it.

If you don't care what people think about your opinions... wait for it... don't post them on a forum!

Do you care what I think about yours? No. But you still post them, no?

I care about what everyone thinks of my opinions hence why if I make a point I am happy to discuss it with people.
Look - maybe I shouldn't have gone in with two feet but it was obvious you were posting for a reaction. Equally, you shouldn't have resorted to the Chesterfield put downs which, as we both know, are completely irrelevant. This is all a bit silly and I don't have a problem with you bar your stupid anti-England bullshit.

Everyone should support their home nation no matter if it's football, rugby, cricket or tiddlywinks

I've always thought a lot of English people don't realise how good they've got it. Fantastic stadium, players, managers, qualify for basically everything, reach quarterfinals, etc. I'd love to watch my country in a tournament even if we lost every game 6-0.

Van Persie is another one who might miss the World Cup, got injured in training.
Is there anything more lame than getting injured in training? Never mind missing the World Cup because of it.

Pablo1. Can't fathom why you wouldn't support your country never mind actively wanting them to lose. There are levels of support, there's extreme patriotism then there's hoping they'll do well then there's not being overly arsed either way but wanting them to lose is another level to it. 2. Even from a neutral perspective, the English team is full of Liverpool players, more than any other nation. The captain of the team is the best player in your history. There's a chance that 4 of the front 6 will be from Liverpool. Why would you cheer against them? 3. What if Januzaj knocks England out for little Belgium from a knockdown from Fellaini from a Mirallas cross? After Rooney has been dropped in favour of a Sterling, Sturridge forward line. 4. What has Luke Shaw done so wrong for you to wish for him to fail like that?
