AND IT'S LIVE
So with Sky getting a few of the GAA games I was wondering if any of our friends across the Irish Sea had watched the hurling yet. Some great reactions on twitter from people who've never seen the sport before haha.
Anyways, fancied a thread to chat about GAA anyway. Donegal look alright this year after the embarrassing exit last year, though we're on a collision course with Monaghan again and I can't see us beating them because for whatever reason, they always have the edge over us. Need to beat Antrim first obviously, and bit weird to have that game in Clones but anyways.
Strange game. Even when Monaghan got the goal I didn't feel like we were in trouble. Really great performance and MacNiallis was my MOTM although McHugh was a worthy pick for that as well.
Delighted with winning Ulster again, could see how much it meant to the players and to McGuinness. Our quarter final is exclusively on Sky which is a bit strange but I haven't seen their coverage yet so looking forward to illegally streaming that.
Incredible match earlier between Mayo and Kerry, absolutely brilliant to watch and the final 10 minutes were amazing. Harsh enough red for Mayo but the guy was stupid kicking out like that. Ridiculpus that the replay has been scheduled for the Gaelic Grounds instead of Croker again
Very nervous for the semi against Dublin next week. Every scenario I can think of we end up losing. Just hoping we give them a hell of a game and all this shite talk about the clash of styles ends after Sunday
Course you see worse but once the ref's seen it there's not much he can do in terms of the rule book is there? It's a striking action, doesn't really matter how pathetic a kick it was really.
I love the blue Kerry jersey tbh. They've worn it quite a bit over the last few years. Know they wore it in 2012 in the quarter when Donegal beat them
